Chris Hummer calls Canes DL best in the country.

DTs have to play up to old Cane level for this line to be best in country. Those outside sacks don't create the same TO ratio as collapsing middle of the pocket and throwing the center and guards on QB's lap. QBs running for his life is better than just ducking a fast DE.

Well I think Miami should make the list in a few other categories.

QB- might be only 3 QBs in the country I'd trade King for. Can't really think of a better QB to match the talent level of the OL (average). To be honest, I don't know that Trevor Lawrence would be an upgrade over King as Miami's QB given the OL situation.

RB- I think vastly underrated. But I'll concede other teams might have more established production.

TE- Miami should be #1. I don't think any of the other names mentioned are more talented than Brevin Jordan.
Come on man take the Cane Shades off. How do you rank Miami as the number 1 TE. Malory hasn't done anything and Jordan was hurt.

He should get killed if we underachieve. Miami has better football players across the board than pretty much every single team they play, especially at the 2 most important spots (QB and EDGE). If you can’t beat other teams when you have the better players, it means you’re a ****** coach and you deserve all the heat that comes your way. He has ZERO excuses this year.
Bro your off. Miami is not better across the board and teams like UNC should worry. They have 2 solid backs while we have only one proven. There already deep af at wr. They should give us problems regardless who our coach is.

I'll continue to profess that our most effective grouping will be:

DE Roche / DT Silvera / DT Rousseau / DE Phillips

Mallory's 18 yards per catch was 2nd in the country among TEs in 2019. He had 12 receptions in the final three games. If you can't see the potential in a guy Mallory's size who runs an 11 second 100m and is still developing then I don't know what to say to you.

He dropped a few balls last year but the flashes of brilliance are hard to overlook.

Get literally all the way the fvck out of here with that bull****.

Miami 2016 recruiting class -- #22, UNC #32
Miami 2017 recruiting class -- #12, UNC #29
Miami 2018 recruiting class -- #8, UNC #20
Miami 2019 recruiting class -- #27, UNC #30
Miami 2020 recruiting class -- #13, UNC #19

As far as transfers for this season, UNC has gotten Kyler McMichael from Clemson, former 4 star...Cam'Ron Kelly from Auburn, former 4 star, tore his knee up last year, Bryce Watts from VT, former 3 star, and a kicker

Miami has gotten D'Eriq King, Quincy Roche, Jaelan Phillips, Bubba Bolden, Jarrid Williams, one of the better kickers in the country....add those to the numbers above, and subtract the kids who left like Lingard, Hightower, etc.

Does UNC have some good football players? Of course they do. Howell is a stud, their WRs are really good, and they have a legit OC. But Miami has outrecruited UNC each of the past 5 classes, often significantly, and landed far more impact transfers, two being a top 5 pass rusher in the country and a top 5 QB in the country. Miami has more talent and a good coach beats UNC at home this year, period.

Plus they lost their star left Tackle and the guy replacing him has very little experience. Howell is going to be running for his life this year.

Why because he can dance better than you? Kid is a beast!!
No, because he lost my respect preening to cameras on the sideline and dancing with a big ol smile on his face while our team was getting blown out. Spoke volumes to me about where his head was at last season. Hopefully he learned from it and has matured, as I agree he has a lot of potential.

Kid just got out of Highschool. He just went along with what he felt would get the team fired up. I'm pretty sure there will be no dancing this year and I expect him to have a huge impact at DT. He's that good!

Love our DEs, still need our DTs to show me something before I crown them as the best. We were gashed in the running game too often at critical times to call us the best DL in the country
The guy who wrote it posted run and pass stats compared against the other choice (uga).. He said BEST DLINE IN THE NATION (trabis ward voice) and he didnt stutter

It’s amazing how bad Florida was with Franks.. Mullen was going to ride with him the entire season if not for his injury against Kentucky. And if Franks doesn’t get injured, Florida goes 8-4 or 7-5. Trask really took them to another level. Mullen not seeing that shows how dumb of a coach he is.
I thought he was a qb guru lmao
