Happy for Chick that he was able to survive his years at UM without major injury and will have a nice career at the NFL where somebody will use him properly.

**** shame how Chick and others have been put in positions that don't maximize their talents/skill set by this coaching staff. Mind-boggling.

And oh btw, the difference between a 3-4 1 gap vs 2 gap that miami runs is almost as big as the whole 4-3 vs 3-4. If they were at least more of a 1 gap scheme, I bet less would think he underachieved... But you don't know what any of this even means is my guess
 
Name me one kid that should of been a pro that hasn't become one because of Golden? That they produce more in the pros is one thing, but all the good ones make it. As far as costing them money because of draft position, that isn't what it used to be with the rookie salary cap. The second contract is where you get paid now.
 
I'm sorry guys there were plenty of times we had chick in on 3rd down and he was told to just get after the QB .. And he failed to deliver... Maybe if he loses the weight

His junior and senior years he was generally moved inside in pass rush situations. When he did happen to be an outside rusher I saw alot of "mush rush". Stay in your lane and keep the QB in the pocket. Seemed like it was by design.

Unless that sideline reporter watched Miami games all the time I think it says it all that her producers fed her those questions about his "surprising burst" in the game. Just goes along with what was said about him during the practices. He'll get leaner too.

honestly If I was them two I would have a sit down with the coach and tell him im transferring if we continue to run this same ****** scheme. Than I would if he didn't because your hundred percent right he will cost them lots of money playing his Northern p/ssy scheme in the south

Al Golden is The Money Pit. This fat load is costing everyone money but himself.

I don't blame Chick for being mad at the dopey fans who buried him for 4 years while he toiled away in a busted defense. Folden turned him from a 5 star ferocious pass rusher into a tree stump.

He just wasted 25 percent of another 5 star beast's eligibility having him play pattycake. Say hello to the new Chick, kids. He's Chad Thomas.
 
Golden is a thief. Stealing money from UM and players.

Best of luck to Chick. Hope he finds success away from the cancer at UM.
 
Problem is on these message board people crown coaches and players prematurely. Chick was a perfect example of this along with that scrub golden.

Sometimes it can be hard to judge a player becuz the coach is so bad in the things he's trying to do he can render a player useless. Golden is certainly one of these types of coaches.
 
Good for Chick. He was yet another victim of this horrible scheme and ****** coaching but I think he will be a solid NFL player.

Kid was always playing inside on 3rd down. And then on top of that he was being asked to run some of the worst, most ineffective stunts/loops I've ever seen.
 
ANyone still blaming these kids and not seeing how the coaches **** them up with their pathetic scheme/lame indoctrination has to be the product of an incest or just a plain dumb SOB....Im betting on the latter
 
I'm amazed at how the golden fluffers are out in full force giving chick's credit last night to the coaches and saying chick was coached well enough here to seamlessly transition to a 4-3. Smh
