I know he hasn't won at Texas, but is 3 years enough to considere his tenure a failure? What do these boosters/fans expect?
The success Nick Saben has had at Alabama has made a lot of people (especially in the SEC and Texas overall) delusional. It usually takes more than 3 years to build a program.
Having said that, I don't have much of an opinion on Charlie Strong's coaching abilities.
Couldn't the same be said for Golden
Except that Golden is literally the worst corch in the world. And we knew that since he first stepped on campus with that stupid tie on. Him and Muschamp are neck and neck.
Charlie strong on the other hand came off of 12-1 and 11-2 seasons a Louisville winning both bowl games. One against the Gaytors and one against Golden himself.
Thinking back on it now, I'm glad his bytch *** is getting fired. Hate it when coaches leave teams high and dry the way he left Louisville. Although Louisville seems to be doing ok without him.
