He was down. That was an ACC refs special. But yea I had high hopes for Chaney and he flashed as a freshman.

I blame Mario for that play. Chaney should have never been running the ball. However, since we decided to run in that situation, why was Chaney extending the ball out and not protecting it? Should have had it wrapped in both arms tucked into his gut. Yes, he was down, but why give the refs any benefit of the doubt to call that a fumble. Play should have never existed, but Chaney has to be better in that situation. Just stupidity all around from our coaches and Chaney.
