Chad Thomas

I saw him out there, but not much, and I don't really remember when. But, without AQM, it made sense that he didn't play...wait, wut?

Later in the game. He was in the game in the 2nd quarter then again in fourth. Not sure about the 3rd though im rewatching the game right now and its in the 3rd and I dont see him yet.

In my mind no excuse for this. If a true fresh can start at QB then a DE (and supposedly one of the best in the nation) should be able to get a lot more snaps then Thomas did. Especially with how gassed our d became at the end. Poor rotation of players/roster management.

I believe Saban wanted Chad to play strong side OLB in the 3-4. Makes a lot more sense than a 3-4 DE.

Just continues to show you how dumb the staff realy is. Harris got more burn that Chad in the game wtf is wrong this picture

Chad is going to be 270-280 here, he is a DE all the way in either set.

with our strength and condition coach he might 310 and lose all his speed. Preparing him for pulling guard in the NFL

to be fair, Harris is a lot better at covering receivers than Chad is.

now, a better question and a one that has not been answered is, "why is our defensive end covering a wide receiver?"

Louisville had that one play and that's the one where Dorsett got big yards; you never saw that again.

but here in Miami, we have been seeing that for the past four years.

True Frosh played QB bc the TWO guys in front of him didn't play bc of injury and pot

Stop expecting a sea of frosh to help us - it doesnt happen

If Myles Garrett could flash for A&M more than once in his first game against USCe there's no reason we should be asking if Thomas even played.

Again, a player not put in a position to succeed.
