Chad seems to have hated his Bama visit...

But what I've found is so many so called "Hurricanes" fans on this board are a bunch of self loathing, crybaby whiners who basically hate their own team. I am also a Jets fan and despite the fact that I root for a team that probably won't ever win in my lifetime, myself and most of that fan base LOVE our team and have a 1000% more pride for that team than a lot of the posters on this board have for the Canes. Just by reading this board alone, I would think that The U has never won a National Championship and is coming off a 3 win season. If recruits ever read this board, no one would ever commit to play for the Canes.

Stop it with this already. Bama fans sent death threats to the kid who missed the 57 yarder against Auburn. How many recruits aren't signing with Bama because of it? LSU fans wave purple and gold confederate flags. How many black recruits aren't signing with them because of that?

Do you people really think Miami fans are the only ones who are critical? Do you guys really think Miami fans are the only ones who are on twitter talking to recruits? On message boards talking about coaches? Do you really think Miami fans are worse? Newsflash....Miami fans are TAME compared to SEC fans. Why aren't recruits signing? Because of what happens on the field. How hard is that to understand?

We love Chad. Before you are done, I expect you will be compared to The Mad Stork and Dan Stubbs, two fairly good DEs. Okay, two of the best DEs to every play the game.

Alabama's lone official visitor this weekend was Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington defensive end Chad Thomas. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Miami commit made the trip to Tuscaloosa just days before National Signing Day.

“On Friday, we just ate and got to see some of the workouts. My host was Tony Brown, but he had a track meet, so I was with Denzel Devall and a couple of the other players and they did a good job of showing me around," detailed Thomas.

"On Saturday, I don’t remember everything, but that was like my academics day stuff and watched another workout, went to the music school- it was mostly academics."

Sunday saw Thomas, who is a talented musician, head over to Nick Saban's house and play piano with Terry Saban.

"I went to coach Saban’s house and ate breakfast and I played piano with Mrs. Saban, then we drove to the school and talked a little bit and I left from the school. I had fun- she has some skills. We just put it together could make a show out of it."

While on campus at the Capstone, Thomas met with Saban and also spent time with area recruiter and fellow Miami native, Mario Cristobal.

“Coach Saban just talked to me about recruiting and how he could help me out in the future.

“Coach Cristobal, he kind of laid back since he has done most of the recruiting down here (in Miami). So he laid back and let the everybody else take control.”

Last week, Thomas received visits from both Saban and a large contingent of the Miami staff after returning from an official visit to Florida State. He maintains his commitment to Miami is strong and that he will sign with the Hurricanes on Wednesday.

“I am still committed to Miami and I am signing with them on Wednesday. I just wanted to get another experience.”
 
Chad, can you give JC and Valentine a call? Maybe you and Jackson can get in the car and pay them a visit.

LOL. I can picture Chad playing a piano version of "No Shone" while Nick and Terry stare at him with wide-eyed astonishment, then politely clap when he finishes the song.
