Having a great QB also makes the GM’s job that much easier. Sure the SB is everyone’s ultimate prize but more often than not you only have to be good to keep your job and a great QB regardless of how expensive, not only gets you there but most likely gets you to prolonged success as well.
 
Penix is a very smart QB, accurate as ****, great feet and mobility in the pocket and a great leader. The arm is good enough.

Look no further than Brock Purdy at San Francisco.

This kid will be very good in the NFL, IMO.

Nah, this ain’t hope. This is another black eye as to where we are. DeBoer comes in w/ zero P5 HC experience & have lapped us by 2 seasons in only his second year.

Took over a 4-8 team, & to ur point, a pretty **** poor program for a while, sans a season here or there under Peterson, & he’s 15 mins away from being 26-2 by year 2 & a trip to the CFPCG while we’re 12-13 in yr 2 of a “proven” P5 HC who took over a 7-5 team that ended their 2021 season 5-1.

Win or lose, DeBoer has beyond superseded expectations getting paid way less & inheriting a less talented roster than majority of their opponents faced since 2022.

NFL teams just leery of investing big $ and high draft pick on injury prone QBs but he's been healthy for two years now
