IMO, this is ******* awful. Way to further dilute the product, just like the NFL has.Looks like starting in 2027. So we get to watch 15 SEC teams in the playoffs.

Also gotta win the ACC this year. Those conference championships are now absolutely obsolete. We gotta win it all this year. I’m legit borderline depressed even though I knew this was coming.
Why, a true champion will be crowned next yearWe gotta win it all this year. I’m legit borderline depressed even though I knew this was coming.
Stop being dramatic..lol With the old system 90% of college football season was over in September if you lost a game. How is that any fun?bc the regular season doesn't mean **** now.
If it goes through my initial thoughts. I prefer the 12 format just to be clear however:
1-What’s the payout per round if this goes through and what do we keep versus share with ACC? Might be worth staying depending, just maybe!
2- We will see who the best conference is annually with no guess work. Do the sec middle teams get exposed as well as the top 1-3? Also if we have to play 10 p4 teams that tests the depth even further which is something this era has removed from most teams.
3-Does it remove any out of conference games since you would see them in the playoffs? I think it removes neutral sites and curious if home and homes would survive.
No it doesn’t, it actually makes it fair. Teams like Miami who had a rash of injuries this season would not be over for a loss.So you can go 8-4 or 9-3 every year and get in the playoffs. 10 wins and you a lock to get in smh that’s taking away from what made cfb great
If we would have made the acc championship we would have potentially played 17 last year.Exactly I know the guys at the top make significantly more money with these added games but the beating on these players is so high now. Even our own team played 16 games last year and some physical games and now we have to play 16 or 17 to win it this year. The grind is wild guys are really gonna be resting and load management going on.
I know thats why a lot of people on here don't watch NFL because the intensity and consequences of losing regular season games are not there
Not 24. They are trying to balance too many considerations. ESPN doesn’t even want 24.
Yes it does and what are you talking about? No it doesn’t, it actually makes it fair. What does “like him” mean?People like him hate change.
And every time it will be an SEC or Big10 team ******* over an ACC team.Imagine being ranked 25th in a 24 team playoff.
For real Mario better sign dam near 27 to 30 recruits every cycle. Along with like 10 portal guys to start or depth at least. We need some deep rosters for sure to navigate this, a 3 deep like you mentionedMake sense to expand rosters but those rosters will get more expensive as well, you don't need a two deep you need a 3 deep.
How is an opportunity to play for a title a bad thing?Yes it does and what are you talking about?
You need more than 85 players? 85 is more than enoughMake sense to expand rosters but those rosters will get more expensive as well, you don't need a two deep you need a 3 deep.
What are you talking about? Are you confused about the situation? The problem is letting 24 teams in takes away from the regular season and you will have 8-4 or 9-3 type teams in who have no chance of winning it allHow is an opportunity to play for a title a bad thing?Yes it does and what are you talking about?
