Why does he care tho? He’s not being held accountable for any of it. Only thing he’s been told is to protect the SEC at all costs. No1 else matters.Yurachek is the star of a TV show that is interrupting Cabinet meetings. This is a great angle.
This is being lost on most people. The people on our side of this aren't random twitter posters or youtubers with a small following. They are the biggest, most influential names in the sport and some pretty **** powerful people.Yurachek is the star of a TV show that is interrupting Cabinet meetings. This is a great angle.
if byu loses close they'll keep byu ahead of miami to protect ND
if bama loses, they'll jump ND over bama to protect ND
Miami's ONLY shot is bama win and convincing BYU loss
How has the pressure campaign influenced them. Out of us, Bama, ND and BYU we were the only team to go on the road and play a ranked opponent. We won by 31 points and we stayed put. Bama moved up (we all know why to protect them and the SEC) and then they moved ND down and we still didn’t jump them. Now it’s “we have to be next to them”. Which is another made up criteria. Bama loses and they will put them at 10 and ND back to 9 to not have that discussion, again. We need bama to win and BYU to lose by a lot. This is being lost on most people. I know we're all used to being screwed, but this is a different situation. Its not crazy to think the committee can, and already has been, influenced by the pressure campaign they're facing.
I'm firmly in the mope crowd, but if BYU loses I think we're getting in.
That’s the strangest thingThey moved up this week lol
Us not even moving one spot over BYU with a convincing win on the road kinda ices it for me… they wrote us off after SMU no matter what we did. We’re just annoying them how we went 4-0 with double digit dominating winsIf they wanted us in - we’d would have went ahead of ND tonight. There’s no flip coming.
Yep best case scenario = Bama wins and BYU gets blasted I believe we’re in.I don’t quite understand all the permutations.
But way I see it- if BYU loses Miami it moves to the 11 spot. If Bama wins, UGA isn’t dropping 7 spots to jump between Miami and ND. If Bama loses a close game, committee could just leave them where they are at and Miami still gets compared to ND H2H. Probably better if Bama wins but I think BYU is more important.
IF BYU wins, is ND out?yeah but that's only part of the equation, although we have no path if BYU wins.
Assuming BYU loses....The Bama game will still be a factor. If Bama wins, they'll stay in the CFP (obviously) and the final spot will come down to Miami and ND, thus (hopefully) using the H2H clause to get us in. If Bama gets blown out (won't happen), then they might drop out of the top 10 entirely and last two at large spots will be ND and Miami. If Georgia wins a close one (or within 1-2 scores), then Bama might drop 1 spot (which would be bad for us because that would put them in between us and ND. We'll get shut out of the CFP if that happens.
So, we are all Bama and BYU fans this weekend.
Then why didnt they flip us and ND tonight then?!!“It’s easier to use the head-to-head win as a data point if the teams are back to back in the rankings.”
Yurachek knows what happens if Miami and ND are back to back in the bcs rankings and he doesn’t put Miami in based on H2H. No non-blue blood school will schedule ND, Bama, etc ever again. You know the HCs of the non blue bloods are going to tell the ADs- “You are out of your f#cking mind if you think we are going to play a team where winning doesn’t help us and losing basically kicks us out of playoff contention.”
Until a fan, or gambler, takes matters into their own hands because they feel cheated and a real (or imagined) sense of loss. There no accountability for any decisions they make. So there is no need to follow any guidelines or criteria.
Then why didnt they flip us and ND tonight then?!!
but last week it was if we are in same pod.... now were supposed to beileve if were next to them then they will look at head to head?Because we’re not back to back. He literally explained why H2H hasn’t been applied yet.
Simple: Massive TV ratings on the final weekThen why didnt they flip us and ND tonight then?!!
