I like that no team will get a bye on a loss.

Horrible that teams got in on losing their last game.

So if my math is right we will have an additional big ten team and Notre dame. Then 5 more sec teams every year. So sec will get half of the teams every year.
Potentially two big 10 teams with Oregon, Michigan, penn state, OSU and potentially USC all in the hunt. But your point still stands. This format just gives the SEC teams a second chance. If this format was in place this past season, Georgia probably would have won it all

so ACC or b12 champ is a automatic qualifyer? is that correct? even if a 8-4 team updates a 12-0 team in conference champ game?

This format is going to **** off a lotttttt of SEC and Big Ten people. this wont last long

Good question. If so it would be like the NFL with Division champs going to the playoff.
Correct the four main last conferences get an automatic bid, and then the highest ranking group of five conference winner gets the other one

No - 5 highest ranked conf champs...
includes all confs...like aac, mw, cusa, etc..
so say Pitt wins the acc title at 8-4 but is ranked 13th....they dont get in assuming there are 4 other higher ranked conf champs.
