CBS Sports names their Top 100 players in college football for the '24 season

CBS just released their list of the Top 100 players in college football for the 2024 season. Some interesting notes on the list:

Miami moving past peers

I get into more detail in the (free) article above, but some big-picture trends:

- Miami is adding more impact players.
- OL is the most blue-chip-heavy position on the list.
- None of the 13 QBs on the list both (1) ranked as a top 10 QB out of high school and (2) stayed with the school that signed them.
- South Florida is getting better after a recent decline, with EDGE surpassing WR and CB as the marquee position. It’s still not at peak levels, though.

I would question the numbr of > in our equation, but the fundamental principle I'm on board with. Rivers deserved the love more than CiCi.
