I hear you...but...iron sharpens iron.
If the kids are slacking it's because they don't feel threatened. They're comfortable. Whether that's due to favoritism, lack of talent or depth behind them, etc...who knows?

For those complaining about the people leaving early please note...

IF that CBS mock draft is correct...IF they hadn't left...Miami wouldn't have anyone drafted this year!

Now that is TRULY embarrassing

Two things to note. Why does Miami only have seven graduating seniors and four of them were grad transfers? I’d rather have the guys who declared early back and have nobody drafted than lose them and say “we had x guys drafted”. I’m completely over the NFLU thing. I don’t care how many guys get drafted off of 6 and 7 win teams every year. I want to win games first and put guys in the league a distant second. Inversely, if the team had a higher profile, a lot of these guys would get drafted higher. NFL teams will value guys from winning programs over guys with equal abilities and production from losing teams.
