From rivals:
Marcus Lewis is a 4-star CB from Washington DC Gonzaga College HS
He came today to attend the UM BQQ and watch practice. When he left home, there was 6 inches of snow on the ground. He says he struggled to get to the airport.
He loved his time at UM today. He was able to watch the spring practice, get a tour of the campus, mean the dean, went tot he communications center, what he wants to major in and meet Al Golden.
He loved it so much he stated "They're going to be a serious contender in my recruitment. I loved it."
The most interesting point of today was when his mother asked if he had a scholarship offer. He indeed did, he has had one since back in October. There was some miscommunication. “It's an honor to get an offer from a school like the U with so many great players that have come through."
When he met with Golden and Paul Williams, they told him he had an opportunity to come in and make a impact as a true freshman. They told him they don’t only like him but need him. He felt great about that comment.
The best part of his visit was attending the practice. He liked the up-tempo practice. He said UM is physical. The campus is beautiful. He said words couldn’t explain how nice it was.
Lewis has 27 offers, plans to list of top schools soon. Possibly a top 8, the Canes having a high chance of making the cut.
He will not make a final decision till he feels comfortable.
He will visit FSU tomorrow before going back home.
