CB Emmanuel Karnley commits to Miami

Here’s what I’ll say on this one:

Let’s watch the guy play extended snaps at Miami before we start a narrative. The negative, uninformed BS doesn’t do anyone any good.
Uhoh.

Here’s what I’ll say on this one:

I haven’t seen Karnley play a game, just like 98% of the people in this thread. And I certainly haven’t seen the coach’s tape.

I didn’t watch him and didn’t pretend to. The guys who actually watched full games and not just Twitter clips (like @JayCane20 @Memnon and a couple others) had him pegged accurately. My beef was never with them, it was with the people who had strong opinions despite watching two seconds of clips.

I’m glad that we threw numbers at the position and didn’t just rely on one guy.

Question: how much money do these players get paid that come in during the winter portal and then transfer in the spring? I'm sure they keep the signing bonus, right? But I doubt they did any actual "NIL" related activities like signings during those 4 months

With Lucas sticking at CB and the size of our freshman class makes sense. Honestly surprised Damari didn’t leave…

Remember we brought him in before the Lucas situation resolved. We brought in 4 CBs and he was CB5 in the portal alone…

He seemed to be a back up plan just in case Wisconsin held up Lucas
