Carson Beck talks about replacing Cam Ward

Notice how I agreed and said we most likely won't be averaging 42 points per game again- but it doesn't mean we can't be more efficient in other areas. God, some of you are brain-dead. I don't think it's that preposterous to say our running game puts up better numbers in 2025. Again, it's why they play the games.
Let me know if you want me to explain your point for you using the correct terminology

Your comprehension here has reached its maximum

The sound of your two brain cells fighting for 3rd place.

You're a scientist. Enlighten us. Point our those areas.
Did you not read where I said we could definitely put up better stats in the run game? There are opportunities for higher YPC, Total Yards, etc. As I said in my very first sentence (you seemed to have missed this), just because our passing numbers may not be the same doesn't exclude us from still being an effective/efficient offense. This offensive philosophy is extremely different in 25 than it was in 24

Same site was getting their fans all riled up on IG saying that Beck was talking crap about leaving UGA. It was dumb clickbait. If they actually watched his interviews, they’d see that he was actually extremely respectful and complimentary to Georgia, his former teammates, and the staff.
Having spent 25yrs in Ga, raised my Fam there, one of them a UGA grad and married to a Big Dawg family, also did my post grad with at UGA. I can attest that there’s no amount of stupidity or BS that can ever satisfy their Redneckerson need to ********** about how great they are, will be, or have been. But, mostly it’s just “ them Dawgs”prematurely ejaculating about the upcoming season, which usually ends with them holding their limp d**ks as their season runs down their leg. Just sayin’,.. but as Forrest pointed out, “ Stupid is as Stupid does”🙌🏽#CANESNATIONLIFER

Just wanna point a few things out here:

1. If this kid didn’t come to Miami and date a Cavinder twin, his play last year would be WAY less scrutinized.

2. How “bad” was he last year??

In 2023, after which he was being projected as a Heisman candidate and #1 overall pick, he was #7 in QBR, #5 in PAA, and #5 in EPA.

So in 2024, with the way this kid is talked about, he had to be Brock Glenn bad, right? I’m assuming he totally fell off a cliff and was figured out as a total fraud. So with the putrid running game and a receiving corps that LED THE COUNTRY in drops on catchable balls, how bad were his numbers?

#12 in QBR, #22 in PAA, #15 in EPA.

Oh.

This dude can play ball. He’ll be compared to Cam all year, which is what it is. It’s not fair, but it’s what happens when you’re the guy after the guy. And I don’t expect Cam-level play. But this kid can ball. He can absolutely win you a lot of football games when he’s got kids around him who produce. And I think he’s got a lot of that this year. I expect big things this season. Easily one of the 10 best QBs in the country.

Literally it all comes down to him reducing his interceptions back to 2023 levels, and performing well under pressure. When he gets moved off his line and forced to play off-schedule its when he turned the ball over a lot. The other 80% of the throws/plays you can be fully confident in him.

It’s been said a million times so this isn’t exactly cutting edge analysis, but he was clearly pressing last year. The hype and trying to live up to that, the lack of a run game (which is jarring how bad they were for a team of that caliber) and kids just flat unable to catch the football. Again, it’s been beaten to death, but just because it’s been said time and again doesn’t mean it’s not very valid. He tried to do way too much at times last year for all the reasons I mentioned above. He’s not an elite improv kid like Cam. But he’s an elite passer in terms of accuracy and throwing catchable passes. If Dawson can just convince him to manage the offense, you’ve got good talent around you, you don’t need to make highlight plays in spades, you just gotta put the ball on time and on target, he’s going to be really good. Dude has played multiple games under the brightest lights, that’s massive for a QB. Just go play within yourself, deliver the ball how you know, and let the kids around you do what they do. But IMO the National narrative around him has gotten ridiculous. This kid is a good QB, period.

Couldn’t agree more mate. I think Beck, because of this national narrative, will have not Cam’s stats and improv, but his giant chip on his shoulder to prove them wrong. As you stated, if he can command Dawson’s offense and play within himself, we could be staring at another amazing season in 2025.
