I don’t think you, or many others who believe our offense will be better this year, fully understand what kind of offense we had last season.

The only thing this year's offense might do better is "be more balanced," meaning the rushing and passing yardage could be closer together. But that does not mean it will be better, more efficient, or more effective.

We didn’t just have a top-10 or top-5 offense last year. Go back, hit the bench with @JHallCanes, and read my guy @OrangeBowlMagic 's threads gushing about our offense. He wasn't lying, embellishing, or exaggerating. We were number one, número uno. WHO LOVES YA, BABY??? @Empirical Cane

- First in first downs, points, yards per game, and average yards per play.
- We ranked third in passing yards per game,
- 31st in rushing yards per game,
- BUT seventh in average yards per rush.

It was the best game on turf. We might not see an offense like that again for a very long time, if ever.

If you're expecting this year's offense to be better in any way, other than total rushing yards and hopefully maintaining a similar average per carry, you're likely going to be extremely disappointed.

If your reasoning is that the offense will look better because the defense improves, then I agree. But that is not the offense actually improving. That is the defense making the team more well-rounded, and it has nothing to do with offensive performance.

Facts! This is a comprehensive viewpoint and I couldn’t agree with you more…

I sarcastic responded to a poster few weeks ago saying Beck would be an upgrade and we’d have a better year and I basically said the exact same thing.

Better maybe in turns of wins vs losses because the freaking defense has a pulse…that’s it.

Like I said before, we won't be averaging 44 points this year and the offense might not have the same look or optics as the offense as last year. From a statistical standpoint, yes we'll take a step back on offense. However, from an efficiency standpoint, we have a chance to be just as good if not better. You don't have to like or agree with what i'm saying but the way this offense is built, we are far more balanced than last season. Just because we don't put up the same numbers, doesn't mean it's any less efficient. How is that so hard for you to comprehend lol

We'll be able to absolutely wear teams down, have better control the clock/game management, and be more protective with the ball

Not being a prick I get what people are “trying” to say but it just isn’t true

We can still be a very very good offense and thats great. Last year the majority of the season we did whatever we wanted on offense. If the defense tried to make us run…we did. If they stacked the box we threw it all over them.

It’s more about the situation that presents itself than just looking at stats and percentages

Our offense was so ******* good that people had to ***** about Arroyo not getting the ball enough on an offense that was literally setting records

One thing that I like about Beck is just his experience in the big games. As big as this Notre Dame game is for us fans and the team it might not even crack his top 5? Maybe that’s hyperbole but he won’t be fazed by it

There’s literally nothing I could possibly say that would change your mind if that’s what you think so it’s all good

I’m hoping the team itself is better balanced or whatever you want to call it. Just hope the defensive improvements outpace the losses on offense and we stop getting in avoidable dogfights every week

Just because we led in every statistical category last year doesn’t mean we can’t be even more efficient in 2025, especially with a stronger offensive line, a more reliable run game, and hopefully a better defense. I don't understand how that is so hard for people to comprehend. No, we will likely not be putting up 44 points a game and will definitely not just be throwing the ball a million times a game

If our defense was even average last year, our offensive philosophy would have looked a lot different. The passing attack would have gotten us a quick lead (ex: 21-0 against Cuse), and then let Martinez/Fletcher wear them down

Honest question - why does everyone think the OL will better than last year's when we lost Rivers, who was one of the better linemen? Also, are we sure our new center is better?

Same site was getting their fans all riled up on IG saying that Beck was talking crap about leaving UGA. It was dumb clickbait. If they actually watched his interviews, they’d see that he was actually extremely respectful and complimentary to Georgia, his former teammates, and the staff.

Last year’s offense was historically “efficient”. Not just at Miami but all of college football. If we’re anywhere near that efficient again, we’re winning the ACC and probably the national championship.
