Related note, because I’ve been watching a lot of previews this week. Love how the narrative went from “I’m not sold on Cam Ward” last offseason to “Miami is going to have a massive decline because Carson Beck is not Cam Ward” this offseason.

Beck isn’t as good as Ward but the same people are talking out both sides of their mouths.

All I remember was the talk of his turnovers and how cam was turnover machine.. and can be limit them, will it be more of same..

As long as we have reliable weapons, I'm not sweating too much.. I don't expect him to be cam but even tvd first month of season lit it up in this offense.. Beck has Soo much experience, it should be fun as long as we can keep him clean

I have a ton of confidence in Beck with his leadership, experience, and skill. Hopefully Lawson spreads the offense out and gives our multitude of receivers the ability to play often.

@DMoney great episode to get insight on the injury. As positive as the updates are, it’s always worriesome knowing the injury and how it could hinder him over the course of the season. Peace of mind to understand the “repair” part and actual “risk” of reinjury.

I expect we'll all be pleasantly surprised. All 3 levels + DC should be dramatically better. We lost only two impact players in Barrow and Kiko, replaced them with Blay and Toure, and upgraded everywhere else.

It's better to temper expectations and be surprised to see them exceeded instead of hyping something up only to be disappointed.

I think there's a really good shot that Beck reestablishes himself as a 1st round pick this season. If we can do this 2 years in a row, that should put an end to the narrative of Mario and QBs and really help us pick up some recruiting momentum.

This is such a swing season on so many levels.

Gotta get it done.
