This class is awesome at OL and DL, really good at QB and WR (if we indeed get Thomas and Harley), solid at LB, but a failure at RB and DB.

Failure at DB is wrong when you consider we signed Bandy, Dean, Carter and Smith who I think is looks ten times better on tape than the two we just lost.

RB I'll give you. I just don't understand why we on;y focused on two guys especially when Whoopi McFarland is a midget with a broken leg and Burns hasn't played since the 4th grade.

Dean will only be here two years. I love Bandy. Carter and Dallas project more as safeties than corners. We needed another guy or two at corner.
Yea, I don't get our recruiting strategy at RB. Head scratching.

The only way you can compare this class to any of Golden's classes is if half these kids never enroll or get kicked out after one season. I'm happy overall. Addressed areas of concern and signed some quality players at almost every position. Not to mention, they killed it with out of state star players.

Bandy and Dean are legit.... Henderson and Edwards knows they'd be coming in behind those guys...

Edwards is adamant about playing CB, and I think he would have eventually ended up being converted to Safety. UF might have sold him on Quincy Wilson as a big corner, etc... Henderson has speed for days, but who know how he'd turn out @ CB for us on the next level. Though we should have took him as a RB, and bulked him up during a Redshirt campaign.

Not too concerned, as we didn't come away empty handed.

So many gloom and doom posts. It's not the close we wanted but overall I like this class. Got a bunch of dogs hungry to make Miami MIAMI again. Unlike Randy and Golden, I'm confident this staff is gonna develop the **** out of these kids and make the most of their potential. Yeah, recruiting rankings aren't worthless, but it ain't **** if you don't develop them. Randy had the #1 class in 2008 and those boys underachieved like a ****. Say what you will about this class being comparable to Golden's classes ON PAPER, but to me that's skewed because most of those kids Golden recruited were never developed properly. We'll never know how good they could've been under a real coaching staff. The future is still bright man. Plain and simple, gotta have a really good year and get double digit wins and at least a Coastal Division title. Do that, and it's more realistic we won't be played by those ELITE DBs coming out in '18.

This is NOT a Golden class. I don't see any James King's, Larry Hope's, Terry McCray's, Nate Dorch's, Brandon Loftus's, Ryan Mayes's, Terrance Henley types in this class.
