All our battles are with FSU. Seems like Muschamp isn't recruiting South Florida quite as much as Meyer did.

Hopefully after him losing Howard it now makes him think twice. I expect not if but when we land 6 etc. Dumbo will feel that fence that is built by the staff. Hoping he stops to think twice if its worth it.

I think it has more to do with being able to fill up on talent from other parts of Florida for UF this year. Their class is very good and they really didnt have a need to come down here and try to battle it out with us and others when they already had their guys.

Yup. **** em but their class is strong.

The lack of DE's is concerning, but the DT situation is looking apocalyptic if we lose Bryant to FSU and Bostwick to grades. Landing no high school players at our biggest position of need would be a disaster

We already have plenty of DT's who will be good on the roster, and most of these kids won't be fulltime contributors til 2015. We need the Juco's, badly. No doubt losing these kids can hurt us in the future, but landing them would not provide immediate help next year. Our DT situation will be slightly better next year with a few guys maturing enough physically to showcase their talent and be effective, but even then the guys we picked up last year won't function properly until 2014.

Name one. Our DT situation was atrocious this year and it sounds like Porter is leaving. Ivery and Moore werent very highly recruited and are unknowns, and Briscoe is closer to beating Call of Duty than cracking the two deep. We need an infusion of talent bad

Olsen Pierre is pretty good. Ivery and Moore show decent potential.

If O'Donnell comes through UTough like he did last season he might be a Matt Walters type DT candidate. Not just cause he's white. Walters wasn't all that big but he was effective on one of the best DL ever here. If Jake gets any bigger, I could at least see him as a 3rd down DT or long yardage.

Doubt it. Dude is lean. Seen him a few times and looks DE all the way, unless he just gets diesel.

Agree with Alex.

This. Bryant doesn't bring any immediate relief to our DT situation, we needed to recruit these guys three years ago and we failed.

Our defensive lineman suck now but they will get better. We are ******* young. Our defense is like that 15 year old girl with the cute face, but is skinny as a stick, tiny ****ies and basically no ***. At the moment you wouldn't go near her, but give her a couple years to develop and it's going to be one bad *****.

I disagree. I think Bryant can make an impact next year. Regardless though if we don't start landing these guys then we find ourselves in the same position again in a few years. No upper class men impact bodies.
