Obviously talented kid with a good arm and athleticism. But he looks to be very short and I'm the type who ignores reported height, weight and 40yd times on football players because they're usually bs. I would have to think the UM coaches would have to tweak the offense to his strengths and weaknesses just like Dan Mullen has done with his short QB at UNLV, Tony Elliot with his QB at UVA, and Malzahn/Castellanos.

Can this kid come in and take over next season as a true frosh (learning curve expected)? Is a portal QB 100% necessary after his signing? I get stacking chips and letting them fall where they fall. Just wondering if this kid is a long term solution at QB.

Nah let him redshirt n go grab a proven starter we will be in the hunt for the playoffs again next year

Tremendous upside but so many qurstions. Personally, still like Nickel more. Much higher floor. Would have been nice to see more of him. If Emory portals out post new portal qb acquisition the competition between Luke, Judd, and DC for Qb2 will be very interesting to watch.
