Canes Hoops (men and women) have an overseas trip to Italy in August 2019. (Great for recruiting)

Wanna make yourself mad?

After the Hurricanes extended their lead to 20, they conceded a 19-6 run to cap the third period and their cushion sat at seven, 55-48, with 10 minutes to play. The Sharks, who featured Khadeem Lattin, a starter on Oklahoma's 2016 Final Four team, pushed their run to 31-8, including scoring the first seven points of the final session, and took a 60-57 edge with 6:44 to play.

The late surge came despite being down to six players, as two (freshman guard Harlond Beverly and junior guard Chris Lykes) fouled out and another (redshirt junior center Rodney Miller, Jr.) missed the final quarter with cramps.

Like deja vu all over again

Good to have confirmation that McGusty hasn't been kicked off the team....at least not yet. Not so good to see that Rodney's conditioning hasn't held up through 1 preseason game.

Exactly, Coach L states Rodney Miller is in the best shape of his life and he gets cramps in his first game of full duty. SMH.

Good point about McGusty but October and November is when transfers have normally been kicked off the team. Hopefully, that streak ends.

I love Lykes and that was a sick move but sometimes he tends to over dribble, causing him to force a bad shot or turn it over.

Sometimes is very accurate. It is good to have Wong on the team so Coach L can put Lykes on the bench as a teachable moment. Wong playing well after Lykes fouled out is big. It would be better if we could have watched the game.

What was the tallest person on the other team?

What is the quality of the competition?

Why was he cramping and unable to play at the end of the game?
1. Don't know, don't care.
2. European. Probably C level
3. Why not contact UM's trainers or Coach L and see if they'll explain themselves to someone like you. I get the feeling they'll tell you where you can put that question.

Here is my question to you.

Why do you hate a kid for trying and not being very good?

He's trying the best that he can. He didn't transfer and he didn't give up.

Worst of all he might just prove serviceable. Can't have that after all the noise you been talking. LOL!!
