Grew up in Maryland, currently live in DC. Growing up, I was a particularly rebellious - fight the power, stick it to the man, I'll do it my way thank you very much. This was the mid-80's, so naturally I gravitated towards Miami football and Georgetown basketball. My Miami love has stood the test of time and I attended Miami for grad school for no other reason than I loved the football team. Horrible rationale, but everything worked out fairly well.
