I would say so.

Alot more speed to the football and that's to be expected now that Rodgers, Highsmith, Gaines, and Green (God bless 'em) are off the team. You insert guys like Kirby, Carter, Crawford, Owens, and Muhammad, you get the speed/violence that we are accustomed to in a Miami defense. What we DON'T see is if the mental errors are still prevalent. Those M.E. breakdowns have been the hallmark of this defense over the past 2 seasons. Guys not knowing where to be in a scheme that demands that you know where to be. We won't know any of that until the real bullets start flying in September.

It's been re-hashed a million a times. The scheme sucks...but I'm hopeful for the offense. That offense could be our best defense...Williams is more of a chain mover so I'm expecting more time of possession.

The less time Onfrio's unit is on the field....the better.

Side note...it's really not fair to pick on Howard despite the fact Dorsett has torn him apart. He probably won't face an opposing receiver that fast the entire season. Howard is the least of our worries on D.
 
Williams arm strength is not Berlin or Morris level, but it looks more than serviceable. He'll be fine.

It's not just you. His passes also hang forever, Makes Danny Wuerfuls tosses look like lasers.

I'm not gonna judge him to the real bullets start flying but I get people being uneasy.

I'm cautiously optimistic for next season at this point.

The offense will be picked up a few notches once Duke & Yearby are healthy. The pressure & speed from the LB group is really nice to see.
 
I see a lot of real football players playing fast.
Ryan Williams will get the job done with the help of some very good receivers and pass catching tight ends.
The running game looks solid and will only get better with Duke returning.
Still not sure about the defense but many more football players playing faster.
Bottom line, they look like a football team and it's only spring.

GO CANES!!!!!!

ryan mayes looks like eric reid from lsu now in the nfl. deon bush looks better but not 100 percent but he will get there in god we trust. dallas crawford looks like another earl thomas. tracy howard has gotten faster dorsett is just fast x10. coley always dangerous and silky smooth. darrion owens making big time plays. Alquadin looks like another Brian Orakpo same for tyriq. if williams throwing a pick in every practice that just mean the defense getting better we will suprise people this year upset fsu i hope and pray

So basically we're fielding a defense of Pro Bowlers...good to know

Definitely both. We will be let down this year with anyone's arm strength after Morris' cannon. But yeah, I agree. Williams has a noodle arm.

You think that from a few highlights, while completely ignoring the equal amount of highlights showing rb's getting destroyed?
