For sentimental reasons ( familyloss) and what may have been mostly Gino-ball impact, it might not be awful to give the guy an honest chance. Especially if its bundled with something like Tulo as hitting coach and Arod's wallet.

Coupled with the no core returning team or NIL-pot or Brink's truck there to sway others Rad sought, it's not clear what else they could do that wouldn't have us Moan over Miami anyway.

I keep seeing people say Tulo will be a hitting coach/infield coach on the staff possibly. He interviewed for the head coaching job. Now you think he will be an assistant to a guy who couldn’t tell him one thing about baseball that he doesn’t know? Come on

Then use better clues, because “two World Series rings and minor league coaching experience” literally says nothing about knowledge of analytics. Kristen Nicholson would be a better hire than most former players.

She’s a biomechanics specialist. You really would use a staff spot on her with 3 full time coaches only? You can’t be serious

I dont. But for some reason everyone we went after didn’t even have a resume better than Gino. I thought that would be the starting point.

Cora is close to each of them because of joey and his tie to Alex. But from what I remember when we were younger and throughout school and ball years Arod wasn't close with JD at all. But I haven't been close to Alex in easily 7, 8 years and he definitely has changed quite a bit.

I've known Alex that long. I was boys with tons of those dudes. Perkins and I were the closest. But because of football Alex and I were straight also & those dudes all flat out hated Alex & he felt the same.
