Here's some analysis.
We have THE worst, most incompetent, apathetic administration in the country. They have now hired, in succession, five consecutive ****** coaching staffs. The previous 4 were prematurely extended. The fifth will likely get his after we triumphantly beat FIU.
We have an "Athletic Director" that is easily THE most underqualified human being at his position in the entire country. He was the former head of ticket sales.
Hope that helps and brings the current situation up to speed for you.
Shannon was never extended.
Didn't know, even in that scenario its not a bad call.Oh yes he was. So were the other 3 bafoons
Shannon agrees on new 4-year deal with Miami
Randy Shannon has received a new four-year contract from Miami after the sides worked on trying to get a deal done for more than a year.www.espn.com
I love football. This ain't it (at least 90% of it).Or do you guys only follow this team to celebrate when we win, and whine and moan when we lose? Do any of you actually like football?
An example of real analysis: Roman Marciante's article yesterday (https://www.canesinsight.com/news/.6643/). Even-handed. Highlighted both the good and the bad.
The team is a handful of plays away from being 7-0. They would be a fraud 7-0 team, but when you're that close to being undefeated, you're not a dumpster fire, either. Good things are happening, just not enough of them to overcome the bad things plus the bad luck. Why don't we talk about the good things in a level-headed way, and talk about the bad things in a level-headed way, and talk about the bad luck in a level-headed way?
All of this complaining about the coaches, the AD, the BOT, etc...it's just freaking boring. We get it. Your team lost and you are sad.
But for those of us who actually like football, who like to follow the story line of a season, the story line of multiple seasons, the career arcs of players, etc., this mindless, nuance-less negativity is just so...****...boring.

LMFAO. I'm going to assume you're trolling. Extending a guy that was never qualified to be head coach in the first place is never a good call.
Do I need to remind you he hasn't been able to get ANOTHER head coaching job since he was fired here?
You're speaking in hindsight. He had a terrible first year but they improved every year after that. It wasn't a "premature" extension considering he was going into his last year of the original 4 year contract. You're sabotaging the program if you don't extend at that point.

We are also a couple of plays away from being 1-6!!!Or do you guys only follow this team to celebrate when we win, and whine and moan when we lose? Do any of you actually like football?

No...I said the same thing IN THE MOMENT. The day he was hired I and many others in the community weren't happy. His simplistic man under cover 2 feasted on bad defenses when he was a coordinator....and it parlayed him a job he NEVER should have had.
Do any of you actually like football? I absolutely like (love) football. I hope I liive long enough to see my favorite team start playing it again. Coaching matters.Or do you guys only follow this team to celebrate when we win, and whine and moan when we lose? Do any of you actually like football?

Lol or a handful of plays from being 1-6?
If you think there is anything to be positive about right now with this team you are mistaken.
You have a 5* Qb, multiple 4* star WRs, 5* and 4* RB riding the bench and you can’t score against horrible defenses.
You have 4* LBs on the bench and you are playing walk ons can’t stop the run.
It’s pathetic. There is no analysis needed when you lose to a 1-5 team.
They should have been looking for a replacement, not giving another undeserved extension.Lol so now his Defense's as a DC was bad? Sure man. Not even the point I'm arguing. We're talking about them extending his contract being premature. They literally waited until the last year.
So, missing field goals is coaching? Ivey not doing what he was told is coaching?. The only part of coaching those 2 things are, is that both are still on the team. SET AN EXAMPLE AND PULL THE SCHOLARSHIPBad luck is JT4 muffing a punt against UF. Hes a vet on a huge stage. That should not happen. Coached cant prevent that blunder but they can prevent this:
Bad coaching is awful tackling, racking up penalties, missing FG's, Ivey holding his **** in his hand on a fake punt, reverse in OT down 7, red zone failures on O&D.
You want real analysis?????
We suck.
Manny sucks.
Enos sucks.
Baker sucks.
All facts.
There is no disguise whatsoever. This is what a thinly disguised slurper looks like.
please explain how Clemson and most other teams on that list can be a "favorite to win the Coastal" when they are in the ATLANTIC DIVISION of the ACC ! SMHJust try and spin this....
