Can we be civil?

Preach brotha
I forgot about the weather thing @Rellyrell .That weather **** with humidity is so fuqin over rated it's beyond disgusting. MSU a cold weather dogged us in the heat because they are better. That's it it's that simple. I got weather team can beat a cold weather team in the cold if they are better. That's it man it's not rocket science.

I feel like John Madden....when you pass ten yards that's a first down.

Good stuffs, Fraggle. I'm quite interested to see how the team evolves during the season. This weeks contest should be a good opportunity for the program to polish some things prior to conference play. The door's still open for the team to find itself in the ACCCG

Irrespective of Diaz's inexperience, the University is quite content with the state of the football program and overall athletics in general. Shared revenue and bowl eligibility are the targets. So, I'm with you...compete, watch the growth and maturation of the young men, take in the game day experiences and look forward to enjoying a bowl game during the holiday season.

I definitely support our team(s) and expect victories. I expected us to actually beat Bama but was not the least bit surprised we lost. The reason BEFORE the game my expectations were high was based on our "experience", our history of playing great in big games, in the same vein our best teams struggled when faced with lesser competition so App St was at least a victory. MSU I kept waiting for us to explode but unfortunately the other team did, so of course I am disappointed as all fans should be. If the season ended today I am all for finding replacements throughout the athletic department (top to bottom, including coaches and staff) but the season has just begun and if the preseason accolades were remotely accurate just maybe we can turn things around. It sucks we have no running game, it sucks our tackling is weak yet these kids have been playing for years and I'd think they would know how. I do know that the targeting calls have coaches trying to change tackling which is probably pretty dumb, too much thinking involved get out of the kids heads by changing what is natural. Our player development has been lame for 19 years now, they seem to regress instead of improve so with that length of time is it coaching or culture? There are some terrific options for head coach and I have some favorites...heck, I'd take Butch back in a heart beat since he was the last winner (not counting Coker the Joker). Now lets develop some new talent Saturday and torture Virginia, GO CANES!

I will censor it for fraggle next time.

Fragile, the man has coached 2 complete seasons prior to this one. If you can evaluate this body of work, and still not get why he’s not the man…. I don’t know what to tell u.

1) I believe you meant “devolves”.

2) Yes!! All the seats to choose from, and banners in the sky to read, make for quite the game day experience.

I hung in there for a few brutal rounds, then....

Tyson carries out his signature combination of a right hook to the body, and right uppercut to the head.

UNC= Right hook to the body
Mich State= Right upper cut to the head

Michigan State knocked me out.

The App State argument goes out the window. Marshall was going up and down the field against their so called tough defense. Just like the Alabama world beaters almost got their asses whipped by a mediocre QB and crap defense of the Gaytors. Diaz is the reason why we suck.

You just answered your own question:

"Michigan State was a disaster but not until the 4th quarter where the wheels fell off but Michigan State is a drastically improved team from last year, they have the leading rusher in the nation."

WHY is Michigan State so improved year two under Mel Tucker while Miami looks like a year one mess under Manny Diaz year three?

WHY are the Spartans getting such production out of Kenneth Walker III—a Wake Forest transfer—while the Hurricanes are struggling with anyone not named Don Chaney Jr. under center (and now gone for the year)?

Tucker brought in 20 players to change his program's culture and declared every position wide open going into 2021—and is seeing things change overnight in year two. Manny is still playing undeserving upperclassmen (because they know the playbook better) and is coaching scared, as some impostor—wanting to be liked and accepted, instead of feared and respected—as well as the narcissistic, betamove of promoting-demoting himself to defensive coordinators, as he was too egotistical and afraid to bring in a true alpha to put a foot up the *** of this defense.

Diaz re-takes over the defense and Miami is worst in the nation at tackling—whiffing on 30 against the Spartans—while the Canes overall incompetence is now going on 16 years and running .... and you wonder why people have had it?

Richt was 7-9 after the 10-0 start, Diaz went 6-7—after his idiotic, theatrical WWE display with the tackling dummies that had "7-6" on their chests; going 0-3 down the stretch and LOSING TO LOWLY FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL.

Pulled a few miracle comebacks—North Carolina State and Virginia Tech—to eke out 8-3 last year and now 2-2 on the season, with a feeling the wheels are about to fall off.

This is Miami football. You're really going to go the, "Hey, App State isn't really that bad—they gave Penn State a game last year!"

The Nittany Lions would kick the **** out of the Mountaineers in 2021—and these current Canes are a lost bunch under Fraudy Diaz.

The Hurricanes are my team and have been for over 60 years. What did anyone expect going into the year? The loss to Alabama was expected and we played better then the score. I think that game damaged the team psychologically. We then BEAT APP St a team that last year Penn State had to go to overtime to win 45-38 so they were not chopped liver and after the Bama loss was to be expected. Michigan St was a disaster but not until the 4th quarter where the wheels fell off but Mich St is a drastically improved team from last year, they have the leading rusher in the nation. Sure I am disappointed but teams learn from non-conference competition and we have time to fix what's broke before we start and we start with a home ACC game. Our main competition started the ACC with a loss. If we bomb out in the ACC then we move on from there via drastic changes but UNTIL then lets support our team. If we win the Coastal Clemson is vulnerable this year so we could have a dramatic reversal IF our team gets its confidence back. Sure it will take some doing but anything is possible. The rips on Diaz is his inexperience so do we have him gain experience here and leave or hope that he is learning and can be the coach so many of us EXPECTED. I am not for throwing the baby out with the wash water. Our season is the ACC now, let it play out and then make the necessary changes. I for one want this team to succeed, it is a great challenge but we are capable. I will never root for losses as some here are. I am excited to see Garcia or TVD step up and take charge of this team, our success should be in their hands and they seem capable. GO CANES!
Lets pull up some threads to see what people expected. Me... I have never believed any hype on our OL or that our LBs would be anything other than the worst in the ACC or that Manny was the type of coach to be able to hide or work around any of those glaring weaknesses.

I was extremely surprised that we only scored 17 against MSU.
