Can someone explain the last 58 seconds?

You're going to have 1 TO because we needed to call TO at 58 seconds otherwise FSU bleeds the clock. Problem is we didn't call TO until 46 seconds left, essentially wasting 12 precious seconds. Call TO, let them score, and get the ball with ~ 50 seconds and 1 TO
Infuriating. Soooooo amateur hour.

Should have immediately called timeout at the 1 with 58 sec left as the clock restarted when the ref placed it. Let FSU score immediately. Get the ball back, down 3 (if they make conv), with one TO and roughly 50 sec left. Plenty of time to get a FG.

Noob time management.

He does this **** every week.

Should have let them score

But he did have to call first timeout. They would have milked 30 seconds before snapping

Agree completely.

While I do agree, what does it say to your players if you let them score? It sends a bad message, in particular if you don't march down the field and win. Tough place to be.

We give up an atrocious 4th and 14 (rush 3??) and with 58 seconds left we have 2 timeouts and they have the ball on the 1 foot line.

We call timeout??

And then another?? (Because at this point we have to).

Why not let them score and the.n we have 2 timeouts and 58 seconds left?

Seems like is was completely confusing.
GO ASK THE MUDA****AS WHO WANNA GIVE MANNY ANOTHER TWO MORE YEARS THAT QUESTION 🤣😂🤣😂

He completely ***** up the last 4 minutes and the last camera shot of him is Corch Fiaz flexing like an idiot after ****ing away the clock and right before one of the players go off sides for the penalty. ******* joke.

If you really want to ask about timeout usage, you ask why he didn't call timeout BEFORE the 4th and 14 play is snapped, but after FSU rolls out their formation. You get a timeout there, peep their plan, and they either have to adjust or you adjust directly into their plan. It's done constantly everywhere else in the sports world.

aint that some ****.webp

I thought it was the right decision to punt but in hindsight I have so little faith in the defense we should have just went for it.
Hedley is a waste of a weapon because the defense can't get stops. See the stop rate thread. there really was no reason to punt up by 5. I know that is ridiculous to say but much better idea have the game in TVDs hands than the Manny Diaz lead swiss cheese secondary. If the Dline doesn't make a play there is a very high probably of a completed Pass. I guess Burmeister from Tech is the next ****ting QB to complete 80%.

The players just let them march 80yds its time to coach, manage the game to still give them the best chance to win

This NOT hindsight but the correct thing to do is NOT to call timeouts and let FSU score on the first play. Then you have two TO's and about 55 seconds to score to tie or win. I would have played that way 100 out of 100. Chances are they score with first down from the 2 foot line on 4 attempts. MANNY IS ONE DUMBASS AND NEVER THINKS TO WIN. HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED TODAY ALONG WITH LASHLEE!
