Can Mario keep his pay but take a demotion from HC to asst HC/ lead recruiter

One of the dumbest posts ever. Congratulations.
Ok genius, break down my post and tell me where you see something dumb and outlandish. Stand behind your response and explain in detail or you just like to jump on the board and sh1+ on other ppl for having a thought bcuz you didn't. It's easy to read and react than to read and give a rational response or rebuttal.

What's retarded is your caveman mannerism to where you can't see, observe and evolve past what your football IQ is. Your response alone, lets me know that bcuz of ones contract you are just fine with the product we are rolling out with every week and are willing to settle the next 4-6yrs or your brain can't comprehend that you don't have to back and hope something will get better when it's displaying itself right before your eyes. You settle for failure and cant figure out how to escape it. That's a losers mentality. If it can't be fixed doing it the old fashioned way then I guess it can't be fixed. Enjoy Mario and his leather helmet football philosophy.

Holy **** just stop. This is bandwidth that could be used on literally anything else.

use the return button. It has more benefit than the likelihood of anyone taking this post seriously
The reason you can't take it serious is bcuz you can't think for yourself. You're the one that sits back and wait to see if things will get better in 3-4yrs oppose to trying to figure out how to make the bleeding stop now. You probably thought it was great idea to give a coach $80mil over 10yrs guaranteed that had never won a natty or sniffed the playoffs, all the other coaches making that kind of money has. See if my post had came down from the prez or BOT, you would have been fine with it; but bcuz it came from the fan base it can't possibly make sense.

Mario is guaranteed $64mil for 8 more yrs, we all know this. But why does the team, the admin, and the fan base have to suffer from his stubbornness and archaic philosophy. Demote to asst HC/lead recruiter, ask Zo to step in as the face of a HC, and allow the coordinators to prove their worth to the program and CEO their sides of the ball. No need to bring in someone new and another contract.
As asst HC; Mario will oversee day to day operations and report all to Zo. Do not try to dictate any offensive or defensive schemes or game plans. And lead recruiter speaks for itself.
Mario is too hands on in game planning.
1-he has shown an inept ability by micromanaging the offensive game plan since conference play started. Through the first 4 games, Dawson's ability to force his will on opposing defenses by taking advantage of their weaknesses prove highly successful in stats, points, Ws and player usage. Multiple rbs look great, multiple wrs were having great games and play calling and adjustments were flawless. Mario took that bye week b4 the GT game and squashed all that sh1+. He used those 2 weeks to implement a whole new identity on offense; and as a result, we have seen a decline in all offensive numbers, even rushing.
2-Player usage or playing your best players is also a problem here. I'm pinning this on Mario only bcuz he's the head guy. Guys were brought in thru the portal or others who have improved their game since last season are not only being under utilized but fail to see the field at all. So far, we have faced 2 teams that have comparable talent on paper but we don't at least have packages for our talented skill players and we're just letting them waste while the offense stutters weekly. And of course mismanaging the playing of a qb that is unplayable by injuries are broken mentally. You have to save players from themselves instead of watching them go out there and look less than desirable and even to the point of hurting the team.
3- game management. Mario has proven, not only in Miami but in previous jobs to mismanage timeouts, whether or not to go for it on 4th down, 2min offense, or the famous kneel down. These are major decisions that have to made in seconds, but you have ppl assigned, to keep you on track with the numbers a play or 2 beforehand. In other words, you should know if I get a certain amount of yds on 3rd down, analytics tells you to do this or that on 4th down. Same with timeouts and hurry up offense. Imo, Mario gets a C-.
4- Having the team ready to come out fast and hungry early. All 5 conference games, we have came out flat. Defensively we've made quick in-game adjustments and held strong. Who's giving the pregame talks in the locker room, do these players believe in this HC or each other.

He may be the highest paid assistant HC/lead recruiter but I feel we can play up to our abilities with a more sophisticated game plan and attitude at the head.
Let me devise a fantasy scenario that will never happen in the real world; absolutely no one agrees with! And then insult the people who point out my stupidity!

Drink bleach.

Should a business continue to decline in production and lose support from it's faithful consumers(after bringing in a new CEO), or should it try and figure out how to resolve the problem. You can be the hardest working guy in the business but if you're not the smartest working guy then eventually your flaws will be exposed. This is not Mario's first rodeo of doing dumb stuff as the head man. Ppl who set the foundation and start the build are not always the ones who lead us to success. The problem is not the $80mil, rather it's the 10yrs guaranteed to do whatever w/out any repercussion or accountability. It's not even the Ws and Ls, but how the product looks in the process. The reason canes games have low attendance isn't bcuz there is so much else to do in and around Miami; rather, its bcuz the product doesn't showcase something ppl want to invest their time and/or money in. Not only is the product subpar, but it's literally boring. We may lose games but canes football hasn't been dull and boring. What's sad is ppl are defending this mess and willing to settle for this black&white tube television version of football. Oh well, canes football has a new standard and accepting mediocrity is part of it.

Sure, Mario Cristobal—a two-time national champion at Miami and a guy who left head coaching job at Oregon for his dream job with the hometown team—will take a demotion and give up his dream job because his team is 6-3 in year two due to the wheels coming off for his mojo-less quarterback. Brilliant take. Shocking more of our fans aren't applying for jobs on the Canes' staff or athletic department with this kind of logic. Totally plausible solution.

Stupidity is, my IQ isn't capable of coming up with anything to suggest a change in results, so I'm going clown on anything or anyone who has an idea; gotcha.

You're the guy in 8 more yrs saying, "wtf happen, I thought those 2 nattys as a player would take us over the top." You don't ask him to take a demotion, he either does or voids his pay. You're either too pro Mario or you have no solutions so you're willing to suffer another 4-6yrs of archaic, caveman football
