UNC under Mack Brown has been recruiting as well as any ACC school besides Clemson over the past 3 years. They are loaded with raw talent.

He built up Oregon and what he did at FIU and as impressive if you actually know the whole story. I know most of the idiots here will just look at the record and have no clue what transpired and what he took over. He’ll build a tough , talented roster. That’s going to happen. Btw I said ” poor man’s Butch “ and that’s more than fair.

Did that Duke team look like they had a bunch of losers out there? Did they lose all hope and pout after that fumble? Nope. Our guys did though.

That’s why that “it’s the coaches” argument is a bunch of bull****. Name one time Oregon absolutely quit on Mario. I‘ll sit here and wait. All of the sudden though he at Miami and it’s his fault that he‘s surrounded by weak minded dweebs. These losers have quit in 3 games this year but yet “it’s the coaches” when this staff literally has NCAA championship coaches on it.

It’s going take years to wipe the loser stench out of the Hecht.

I'm not of this opinion, but if this is the cases there should be wholesale changes regarding on field personnel and a drastic turnaround in win/loss next year. If it's bad players, it's incumbent on the coaches to make the changes. If they do and the team is still bad, it's on the coaches.

Some coaches need to go too but at the end of the day the players job is to execute and the only execution I want to see is half the team!

Do we though? Is it really that significant? Or are we just trusting a star rating next to the players’ name, coupled with 3 years of atrocious coaching?

Idk man. There’s a talent advantage sure, but I think a lot of these kids are busts / were coached poorly in high school and we’re continued to be coached poorly under Manny.

We’ll see.

We’ve seen a bit already. Young and Ladson are playing more, Wes is playing more, LG has changed, and Gattis has modified a little bit. The only place we haven’t seen a change is in the secondary. At some point we need to call a spade a spade. Should there be changes coaching wise? Yea. I would fire Gattis and hire Kevin johns tommorow. At the end of the day though, if you don’t think the players are the bigger issue then I don’t know what you’re watching.

Dog, I wanted Lane over Mario. I’ve openly criticized our lack of recruiting the past few months. I’m far from a slurper.
