Camp Report Day 6

Miami should have three burners on the field at any given time. We got one in bama and the other at gaters. We're going to need at least 2 to break out in fall, Bruce, Richards or Mullins. 2017 WR commits Dingle or Scott are burners, so we have to have at least one burner for the next class. They'll hold us over until 2018 when D. Wiggins and J. Patterson come. Both deep threats.

Shawn smith and Juedy can be classified as burners, especially Shawn Smith
Disagree Smith being a burner with 4.61 forty as opposed to someone like Scott who is at 4.5...All in all I think Richt assumed we had some 4.4 guys and a couple of sub 4.4's which is not on the present roster...

Scott is not a 4.5 guy, where are you getting that info?

what?? Scott isn't a 4.5...Scott isn't even a 4.5 on tape. Shawn Smith as video of him running right past Deejay Dallas and slows down to make a play on the ball and Deejay is around low 4.5

Rumph On younger members of the team who are standing out…
“Jaquan Johnson, Sheldrick Redwine and Michael Jackson. They’re very athletic younger guys, and they can definitely play for us this year. Sheldrick has a nice size and he’s not scared to tackle. He’s very athletic to be that big and that size. He has really good man to man coverage technique and he can really help us a lot.”

THANK YOU jaquan johnson. he got redwine here. Paul williams didnt like him, he openly bashed redwine and caused his value to drop during recruiting process.

Rumph sounds like Jaquan Johnson could be one **** of a corner, if he was moved to CB.

If moving JJ to CB helps our secondary, why not?

that herndon kid might not play a down at db if thats the case that kid is a burner, or maybe we need to go after tyjon lyndsey that kid seems like hes open to all schools.

Because we have jack shi* for depth at S.

We have Carter, Rayshawn, and JJ. That's it. Putting JJ at CB leaves us with Robert freaking Knowles as the primary backup.

Safeties are critical in Diaz's schemes (in the past). Our safeties need as many reps as they can get there.

Not to mention what happens next year when Carter and Jenkins are gone. Without JJ, we're left with Knowles, Finley, and Wright as the only returning safeties for 2017.

?? Chris Henderson is a corner everyday of the week AND he's never played receiver in his life.
