Cam Ward

some of you guys need to at least pretend you watch the titans before spouting off nonsense like this
Who on that line is competent then? Jc? Turnstyle. Offensive line play more often than not comes down to cohesion more than individual talent. I know they played a lot of different line ups for various reasons. Maybe that was their biggest issue. But at no point did I see competent line play out of any of their line ups. What I saw tells me no matter how tough Cam is, he better hurry up and get out of the pocket or he's gonna have a short career.

Enough about the ****** Titans, who do you pick at #5 if you are making the call for the Giants?

peter skoronski had a borderline all pro level season and is one of the best young guards in the nfl. kevin zeitler was a solid veteran guard on the other side. both graded out as top 10 interior offensive linemen per PFF but more importantly it was pretty obvious on the field that our guard play was good. it’s part of why we had success running gap scheme.

both tackles had a rough start to the year, latham especially because he was dealing with an injury, but both settled in as the year went on. neither are anything more than average. you hope to replace dan moore with a franchise LT at some point but until then he’s not an active liability. latham you hope develops as a young, talented player but again, he’s more middling than he is outright bad. neither of those guys warrant further investment of a top 5 pick at tackle, especially in a draft without an absolute home run tackle prospect. center was easily our worst position, as lloyd cushenberry was pretty bad all year- part of why he was cut this offseason. we have some work to do there, but quality interior offensive linemen are very often found in the mid-late rounds.

If Francis is still on the board I go him. If not I'm okay with Downs or Styles. Styles & downs that's a lil bit of a reach and would be the same for tate. Don't want Fano or lemon. Don't want Love. Wouldn't feel horrible about trading down depending on what you get back. Main reason I been so ****ed off these last two years with these meaningless late season wins. Get that #1 and make moves from a position of power

I'll leave it at stats don't always portay an accurate picture. I'd say the main reason success was at all found last season is because once buddy got fired they prioritized cam either moving the pocket and quick reads. They made the offense less predictable. Guess I wouldn't argue skoronski cause he did have some moments. But zeitler was a hot bucket of trash any time I watched.

Agreed. The #1 creates power and great flexibility. Bad wins both seasons. The only 1 I can stomach is the Raiders because they would have really had to throw the game since the Raiders were that atrocious. I'm good with Downs at 5, but agreed on checking the market to trade down a few spots for extra draft capital. Love is popular talking point, and a good back, but the Giants just can't take him that high.

I can see trading down and stacking more talent for the Giants. Linebacker and Secondary need help. O-Line could use some help also. Dart has to protect himself for them to have a better season

I'd hope we would've learned from saquan. Saquan being taken that high was never the issue. The issue was us taking him that high. Can't draft a running back that high to a team with so many holes around them. A running back is like a portal QB. He's a finishing touch. Not something when you still need to build a team around them. Honestly I was a lot higher on love coming into this season then I am after this season. It's one thing how he acts like such a hoe. Don't want any drama queens at positions that require physicality. After watching them some last season I think I'd prefer the other running back they had and you'll be able to get him in the second MAYBE the third round. Far more complete but not the home run threat love is.
