Cam Ward was a stud, through 2 games

The narratives people make in their head are ******* insane. They make it seem like dude avoided the check down every play hunting for big play. Or they HAVE TO knock the prior guy to compliment the new guy who has a different type of game.

Cam was 26 of 35 for 385 yards 74% with 3 TDs and 1 pick in the swamp. 20 for 26 for 304 yards 77% with 3 tds no picks against Famu in first two games.

WTF are we even talking about here.

Efficiency. Buzzword of the season.

I don't know if he's better than Ward. They're completely different players. But a couple things I have been impressed with so far are his ability to evade pressure at the last second while still making accurate throws and his ability to manipulate defenses with his eyes. He's not just scanning the field...he intentionally looks off safeties before coming back to the other side of the field to his receiver like an NFL QB. Did it beautifully on one of the throws to Daniels yesterday.

Cam may be able to get away with that **** in college but I guarantee he will learn to dump that **** off in the nfl.
I think you are right. Callahan has said a few times they have been tellling Cam he doesn't need to be Superman. Just take the play that's there.

Tennessee opens in Denver today - 4 pm EST time. Rough opener for a Rookie so we shall see..

Both are excellent QBs. Two different types of entertainment. Cam brought the "wow" play more, in a riskier way sometimes, at least it seems like that two games in.

Beck will make some "wow" plays but he just has a different process getting to them.
