Cam Ward vs TVD draft grade for 2025

I’m not trying to start anything here, but I noticed that TVD has a better draft grade than Cam Ward. I just want to know you guys opinion of why, and what do these experts see that we don’t. Now I know that could change as the season goes, but as of now TVD is ranked 7th QB in next year’s draft Cam is 16th.

Not sure what the criteria for the grade is. Both will have a chance to improve their stock next year.

What sets TVD apart is his leadership and ability to optimally adjust to what the defense gives / takes away.

I just do not see it with TVD. He throws a nice deep ball but other than that he has ZERO touch on his passes. I don’t really know what Cam’s prospects are either tbh but the TVD hype is a lot like Leonard Taylor to me at this point - you have to actually show it on the field eventually lol

My opinion is a 3/1/2024 draft grade is irrelevant to a 5/2025 draft.

There isn't a spot on the field that TVD can't throw to. Problem is there's often a defender standing there.

If he can ever get his head right, he'll be a really good QB.

I don’t know if it was a disconnect between him and Miami or if it is all internal. I guess we will find out this year

Early in the draft prep I feel like people just look at measurable and blindly bank. TVD has prototype nfl QB frame. He’s just not all that great especially trying to fit into NFL playbook.

Whose draft board? Whoever it is, has seen highlights and stats for games played without evaluating tape or opposition.

Wish nothing but the best for him has tools. Needs to refresh his mindset and approach to the game.

Being away from South Florida from a personal perspective might do him wonders.
