Calvin Ridley??

All im saying is people should stop assuming its easy for us to win 10 games this yr. we have a bunch of teams ranked above us. We are either starting the season w/ a true frosh or a ****** 5th yr guy that hasnt been here long either. I understand some of the issues we have on this team are goldens fault (dt recruiting). But all of us at one point thought olsen was atleast a serviceable starter in the making. Most of us thought williams could win us 9 games this yr. All of us knew figs was going to start at LB. Just like every real canes fan id love as many wins as possible.

Just seems like some of you are setting yourself up to hate golden even more when he doesnt win 10 games even w 5+ teams ranked ahead of us, having 3-4 legit lbs at most, and having no solution at Qb with less then 15 days till the season.

When will u guys learn lmao, how long u follow recruiting? Kids don't give a *** how many wins u have, uf went 4 and 8 and they still had a beast class. We been in the dump for years and still got some solid guys. It's about relationships with coaches and duffles period.

That is just blatantly wrong. Sure, we've landed some decent talent despite not having a good record recently. But you are being naive if you don't think that winning will help keep more of the local studs at home. Instead of having a recruiting class ranked in the 10-20 range, a record with 10+ wins will 100% bump our class into the top 10 recruiting classes range because MORE of the local studs will WANT to stay home to compete with a great team.

Did you glean this from message-board talk? Because, unless you know these two personally, what an assumption to make. lol at "forcing" someone to commit, as if it was against his will. Kid made a choice. Hopefully he changes his mind, or perhaps we should hope for another recruit to "force" him to change his mind.

not really new...it's been known he's old for his grade. Benjamin from FSU had the same problem at glades central

The rule is that at no point during your senior year can you be older than 19 yrs 9 months old. If you exceed that age then you are deemed ineligible from competing in athletic competition
