He's not made for the NFL, I think he realizes this season he was meant to be a college HC. Maybe a NFL team offers him a OC job but if we offered him a HC gig then I think he takes it. Him and Hugh Freeze would be by Top 2.

I won't say "he" but a guy like him is what this program needs for our next coach. No mickey mouse bs and all business. The bums we have had over the last 20 years have all been kiss *** yes men. O'brien did a very good job at Penn St. He did it his way and the NFL came calling. He had a good run in the NFL until things got goofy for him. He is not my first choice but I would be very happy if he were our next coach. I don't think he would take the job if offered though.

So true. When Saban went to Bama he immediately sent the Athletic Department into overdrive to correct how far behind they had fallen (and they weren’t that far behind lol). He is on the phone to boosters after a National Title pushing for upgrades.

We will never quite be there but can we get to 90% of it and bridge the other 10% based on recruiting in the best national hotbed? I think so. It starts with someone coming in wearing their “Big Boy Pants” and shaping up the entire operation.
