CALIFORNIA STATE COLLEGES CLOSED FALL

If there's a pimple between the buttcheeks of God, it's California.
There are some great things in Cali. Like all those tech companies founded under republican governors. And all the beautiful nature that has been there for thousands of years. The only thing wrong with Cali are recent things, like homeless, NIMBYs, leadership, etc. But the foundation is simply too strong for the incompetents to destroy completely.

Two weeks ago we were told everyone in Florida and Georgia would die. Corona is a Ny crisis because cuomo mandates seniors wifh covid be admitted into nursing homes and he didn’t sanitize trains until last week. Also didn’t shut down until end of March
What a BS post. "everyone" is going to die. Welcome to the ignore list. Post like this show the lack of intelligence on this board. Put your head a little deeper in the sand please.

This will be interesting because we know the SEC schools will have CFB. The PAC-12 is already behind in the arms race, this would be the final nail for them.
If the NCAA allows the $EC to play when other conferences literally can't even be on campus, then everyone else absolutely should leave that defunct organization and form their own.

NCAA is leaving it up to the individual states, they aren’t getting involved. He knows the cash cow of the SEC will not have a problem playing this year and wouldn’t dare stop that because of California.

@Hoyacane1620 If the Pac-12 ends up cancelling Football for the Fall that would all but guarantee Miller Moss doesn't stay out west.

I think Bama will still be on him heavy, but it's definitely something to watch for.

Yea, that certainly adds another whole dimension for Moss. Bama is already on him heavy. He's their boy right now. I think he is leaning there right now, too. He really put himself in the position of having few choices by waiting so long. I think he WANTS to stay in Cali -at USC preferably- but Garcia beat him to it. I don't think he is at all interested in UCLA but it's really his only choice right now.

I've read that Orgeron is on him pretty heavy right now too. They would like to take 2 guys this cycle but don't have to. If they do, that will likely empty out their QB room of the upperclassmen, leaving only freshmen Max Johnson and TJ Finley.

So he either becomes part of a 2 QB class and has more competition to play or he goes to Bama and sits for a couple of years.

Emmert had to say this to keep the sham anyone cares what he thinks. Too many coaches have already said they will play this fall whether all teams in a conference can play or not.

The majority of all college degrees should be on line. Going to a class room to hear a professor talk for an hour is over and should have been 10 years ago. Unless you need to be hands on or in a lab no one should be on a campus. This virus will cause some long over due changes to take place with schools and with people who have been required to go to an office for no reason other than the top manager doesn't like not having complete control.

The majority of office jobs can be done from home. These companies are now seeing the savings to their bottom lines by not having to have as much as office space, furniture and utilities. It is about time this happened it is just too bad it took a virus to get us there.

Since some schools in California are closed already to students in fall to them that means no football for those schools. Anyone think this reaches to USC football and if so can we grab some transfers and bring to the U so they can play this year and not sit at home in a shut down. If so we need that Amon Ra Sta receiver
The CSU does not include any Pac - 12 schools. Schools within the CSU that field football teams would be San Diego St, San Jose St, and Fresno St.
UCLA and CAL are part of separate school system, UC System.

So it's too dangerous to play football at Fresno State this year but not at UCLA? You people don't see where this is headed yet?

I don’t think transfers are going to be an option, but this does create some interesting opportunities when it comes to 2021 recruits.
