By far the worst loss in my 35 years as a fan

Guys, Diversity and Inclusiveness are our focus, not “winning” in terms of points on the scoreboard. That’s so toxic.

You and I are homers because we love UM so much and are always looking for that shred of hope and positivity. I’m not wired to constantly bytch and moan about everything, especially when it looked like there were some positive signs.

But then Manure gives us this—the worst loss I’ve seen in 35 years. You can have a clunker like GT in your first year and rebound and get some good momentum going. You can’t have this. This is inhumane. This destroys every drop of momentum and hope.
 
The sad part is that if manny is fired in the season, who takes over as interim head coach. Manny not only sucks, he has hired a staph around him full of incompetent yes men. Usually you have a gray beard or 2 on your staff that the players like. I honestly don’t think the staff has any of that

This is way worse than under Coker, Shannon, Golden, Richt. It keeps getting worse under this incompetent UM admin.

I can’t fault some of the players for showing some life and excitement. I’m much more sick of guys like Bandy, Ivey, Blades, Shaq, Pinckney, our DL, our OL, Jarren, and many others who were gutless no shows. Ultimately, it’s all on Manure, but what kind of devout loser do you have to be as a player to let FIU punk you?

Even our worst coached teams under Shanntard, Coker, and Folden would find a way to rally amongst themselves to say “we’re not going to humiliate our families by losing to an awful Sun Belt team coached by a dehydrated **** towel.”

These losers let themselves get their cheeks split by a horrible G5 team and had nothing to say about it. Just laid there and took it. It looked consensual so I can’t even call it forcible sodomy. I heard our guys cooing and looking to cuddle afterwards.

We have grey beards on the staff, but that’s from Booch’s old man **** being dried in their beards.

Been over 50 years for me Chise. In the late 60's and early 70's, this kind of performance was somewhat the norm. ****, they were even calling for the football program to be 86'd in the 70's. I'm a realist that leans towards positives. I was hopeful that we had truly turned a corner the last 3 games before this debacle. I even bought tickets to go to the Duke game. I'm still debating as to whether I'll go.

I'll always be a Cane. It's just getting more difficult as time goes by.

I have zero issues with being a homer and I never will. Optimism is the reason sports survive and thrive. Right now in every major sport, college and professional, there are less than 5 teams with a legit chance to win it all, yet every team fills their stadiums and arenas year after year.

But like we both just said, there is no recovering from this debacle. The least talented Canes team in 40 years should smack down that FIU team by 30. What message is the University sending to it's fans, even the homers like us, if they stand pat after this season. Not even getting into the recruiting part.

They need to burn this thing to the ground and start over.

The fact that we were still running the playclock down to single digits down big in the second half tells you how overmatched our coaches are.

Even just speeding things up as a change of pace to see if that could wake up the offense would have been smart. Nope. We kept trudging along like snails. Then when we did hurry up we started shredding them. Fcking morons.

I dont want Manny fired.....YET. Why? Because I dont want Blake James making another lazy hire. I would rather get a competent AD who will clean out the athletic department and hire new coaches not just in football but in baseball, basketball and other sports.

Got to agree with you on this. Off bye week, how do the players not come out foaming at the mouth. You are off a bye week and you get to play college football and you come out flat against some kids that shouldn't be on field with you. The coaching stunk and they bare responsibility, but these players didn’t want to be there. Don’t get it.
