Buy your tickets pls

Looked way worse on tv. I thought max 40k there, but they “announced” 49k.
The RAIN was an issue with butts in the seats. Rained like crazy for an hour before kick off .... there were more people in seats in the 2nd quarter than there were at the start of the game ... and then with the big half time lead ... the Club Lounge / bars were packed for the entire 2nd half with people who didn't return to their seats. Almost the entire section I was in ... 235 ... emptied out at half time for the bar and hardly any returned.

I live in another state, but is there not scalpers at the game?

You can usually always find very very reasonable tickets on site within an hour of the game when I go to sporting events.

If you're considering going, just go I'm sure you can find some reasonably priced tickets.

Everything is digital now. They don't even offer printed tickets anymore through the ticket office. If you're looking to buy "scalped" tickets, you just get them off seat geek or stub hub. The people selling tickets will usually lower their asking price if it looks like they're not going to sell.

That's usually how it goes when you get rain during a game against a lesser known team. I've been at games where I watched more of the game on one of the TVs at the bar than in my seats. I'm not getting soaking wet to watch Miami beat some FCS team 70-7. There were a couple of wide shots of the stadium in the second quarter and you could tell attendance was in that 40-45k range. Which is about average for a game against Ohio Miami.

it'll actually be cheaper to buy tickets for both on seat geek stub hub than to buy the BOGO through UM lol
Section 345 is $195 through UM right now. It is $225 through Stubhub before fees. I compared this section because that is where my seasons are this year.

BTW, getting seasons was a better value than the 3 game package they offered because it was A&M or Clemson.

If you want to get into the stadium there are tickets available at $60 before fees.

section 345 row 14 is 88 bucks right now on seat geek

Scalping doesn’t exist really anymore in the digital era. The new scalping is buying tickets on your phone on the way to the game.

Prices dip dramatically at the 11th hour.

yeah, there's cheaper options on the side ticket sites, but I was interested in taking advantage of the Bogo.
No need to. It's actually still much cheaper in total to buy thru the secondary markets. Tickets to GT will be <$10 upstairs and maybe <$20 to $25 at most downstairs.

I’m not an “attendance apologist” but this is fair and happens to be true.

The comforts of the lounge in our state-of-the-art professional stadium detract from the in-game experience. The casual observer sitting on a couch at home or watching from a bar has no idea that this takes place yet is quick to criticize our attendance based now what is shown during the broadcast.

Hey all, I am in Chicago and try to get down to one home and one away game a season and had bought 4 ticks for this weekend, but a family member got covid. I have two left that are 330 Row 1 on the aisle (23 and 24) and would love to keep them for Canes fans, so please DM me if you want them. $70 flat and digital ticks, which unfortunately, I got for much more on SeatGeek. GO C-A-N-E-S

62,000 people showed up for a noon game against an unranked Virginia squad in 2017. Noon game. Virginia. Unranked. 62k!!! That's all anyone needs to know to understand the reality of our attendance dynamics.

That was right after Jaquan pick six.

The good old days, haggling with someone on the spot, them with tickets on hand. Most of the scalpers were full of personality, something kids won't ever experience.
