Sorry to break the news to some of y'all but Davis was the last real coach Miami had. Haven't come close since. Davis gets a bad rap because of some dumb chit but the reality is he was Miami's last great coach. He beat Diaz with a HS squad last year. I mean that's pathetic. He out coached Diaz badly.

Had it not been for that scandle at UNC he had those guys on the brink. He assembled an array of talent there too. Playing without 13 or whatever it was players and hanging in, chit dam near beat a pretty talented LSU team

True, but Diaz **** near lost to Horsetoof Sharklover as well. Had Pimpleton not dropped 10 passes, mighty CMU beats us.

Words can not describe how bad Diaz was last season. Butch beating him with lesser talent should have been expected. He's a real coach. We have a politically motivated hire, pretending to be a head coach.

And I agree. Butch Davis was the last quality head coach we've had.

Could have been an all time great one...

Other than Cane fans I’m sure it’s almost all but forgotten now that he weathered us through the scandal and made those early 00s squads

WTF? You like to make facts up as you go along huh? I am not "selectively" remembering losing to Butch last year, it actually ******* happened.

I am simply embarrassed about losing to FIU last year....you're clearly not. Fact is a Butch Davis led FIU team beat the Canes last year. You might need to come to grips with that, though like you said, it doesn't matter since we beat them by more the year before?!?

I hope you pound your chest after we beat Wagner and Temple next year too..

I don't care how he left. If you're still holding a grudge about it 20 years later, you've got bigger issues. The only reason for a 20 yr grudge is a woman, money, or a bull**** penalty flag that costs you a national championship.

Time to let it go fellas. The infatuation some of ya'll have for him is worrisome. This guy had his chance and left us for greener pastures. And didnt' just leave us. He upped and quit out of nowhere. Used us as a stepping stone. You're either with us or against us... Fugg'em!

No...it wasn't you in ref to Chise and myself...just the Mods in General....These Faqquits can run they're mouths till the Cows give Milk, as they hide behind they're Keyboards...but when its time for them to run there D*cksuckers in person.....Crickets...they had they're opportunity last yr Pre Game party....Tailgating...Game etc....but of course not one of them would Man up...and to be perfectly honest...its best they didn't...

As I said....No sign of the Tough Guys...I intentionally waited an extra Hr for one of they're Candy Azzes to show up....My GF didn't even want to come...because she knew I wasn't joking...and the reason being was a derogatory comment about her to begin with...I stood talking to @TheOriginalCane for a good while...and the only Azzwipe to come over and run his mouth..was some half drunk idiot arguing with us, saying how much better Shaq was than Nate Webster....The entire 3hrs my GF was texting me, worrying I was gonna go to jail...The next day tailgating, I was with 3 former Canes ready to knock some teeth out if someone ran they're mouth...
