Sometimes I just try to remember they'll just say whatever in an attempt to get a reaction out of you. I don't know if that's the situation now or not. For whatever reason people think they know the story when it pertains to Butch leaving. That it's just as simple as he chose to leave us for Cleveland. They don't care that he was forced into a corner by the administration and he did what he had to. Anyone who says either of them is a loser gotta speak just from emotion because without chuck and Butch a whole lot of us wouldn't have even understood how to reach out potential as players or as men.

CIO’s a good dude. A good portion of it is people trying to get under his skin because he reacts. I mess with him sometimes but all in good fun, never insulting Chuck or anything disrespectful.

Some of it is people who legit disagree with him. Someone mentioned this but for me, Butch leaving was the worst thing that happened to UM football and to Butch. There was no winner there. Butch at least got financially rewarded. After Clappy won with Butch’s guys, we’ve never been the same.

He lost to Middle Tennessee State, FAU and Tulane by a hundred points combined last season.

One win against the worst, most dysfunctional Canes team in 40 years doesn't change the fact he has exactly one 10 win season in 20 years as a head coach, gets a beatdown against rival FAU every year and in his fourth year his team is currently 25/1 to win their conference.

That loss said a lot more about our sad *** state of affairs, than it ever will about Butch.
