That's not it. His magic was being able to identify under the radar guys. Before the proliferation of the internet and scouting services. The world is just not the same anymore, which almost entirely negates the competitive advantage he had at Miami.

bro if the world changing affected anybody it's Mork, it has left him in the dust, talk about hard headed, it's like he's in a constant fog, we are ranked in the freakin 30's for christs sake in recruiting for 19, thats unbelievable and non acceptable

Thanks for your opinion on something I wasn't even remotely discussing.

Please allow me to point out that the best HC job Butch could get was at FIU. And they lost to us.

Let it die, Butch was the man back in the day, but his time has come and passed. Especially after the UNC show.

Butch will never coach another elite team again, not even at Miami.

Considering he was interviewed for the job, really wasn’t that big of a fantasy now was it? And if you read what i wrongs I spoke in past tense, learn to comprehend. Also I said anyone could have done the job he has done, and no one could’ve done a worse job than what he has done. He’s embarrassed the offensive side of the ball for Miami just like DOnfrio did for the D and no one wants to play for this clown. Miami football won’t be better until he is fired, plain and simple.

Butch has the 115th ranked recruiting class in the country. It’s 12th out of 14 teams in his conference.

Miami even with scholarship reductions should never lose to these teams but what happened? The way his record looks he probably would’ve lost with the ‘01 team. Stop trying to convince yourself he’s the savior...
