What success has Richt had? Enlighten me? A Sugar Bowl win against Hiawaii in 2004?

Had this argument with a Bama fan. Georgia is THEE easiest school to win at. The fertile recruiting grounds and going up against virtually no one to keep these kids home. They signed 5 out of the top 6 kids last year in GA 3 5stars. The only reason they didn’t get the other kid is cause Sunshine went to Clemson so they took Fields who some argued is better. Richt is the most overrated coach the last 2 decades in college football period.

Let’s also not forget that his offense once ran out of time in a two minute drill with 4 minutes left in the clock and 2 timeouts. Don’t blame the quarterback he was calling in plays from the sideline. He’s slow at everything he does and his team plays like it.

Georgia is Georgia because Richt turned them into Georgia. They weren't the "easiest school to win at" between Herschel Walker and Mark Richt.

Yes I know it’s FIU, but there’s no way that’s not a concern.

People need to remember he rebuilt a team that had won four titles in the 13 years before his arrival. The U was the shot and kids still loved it. And he faced 1/100th of the pressure from out of state schools that exists today.

Butch isn’t the answer here anymore. Time to let it go.

No **** but what makes you think he would come back here and do that again though? Coaches who go back to the same school they left before rarely ever work out.

My point, with all of the Butch stuff, is the game is not the same anymore. He's great at evaluating talent. But that advantage has significantly decreased since the mid-90's. Far too many think expect that he could strike lightning in a bottle the same way he did before, but I seriously doubt it.

When all is done and said, I think it's likely that he will have recruited more NFL HOF'ers than any college coach ever has.

Certainly his magic was closely tied to Miami so you could be right. His real talent was seeing what a kid would be in a couple years as opposed to what they were in HS. That is huge edge in having better chance finding those Ed Reeds of the world.

Turned them into Georgia what does that even mean? WHAT HAVE THEY WON? Florida owned him. Saban has OWNED him especially the games in 2008 and 2015. It was embarrassing. Kirby won the SEC in year two and was two plays away and a ballsy move by Saban to go with a generational freshman QB. They destroyed everyone they’ve played.

The LSU game this year reminded me of so many of the talented team UGA had just to get outcoached and outclassed. I’m sick of this ****. With him in charge of the offense we’re fvcked.

Richt won the SEC in his second year as well, who cares. LSU trashed Kirby this year as well, does that remind you of the talented UGA teams that got outcoached and outclassed?

Kirby has yet to still win a big game, actually he's choked in his biggest two in his career

He did this with sanctions that would have totally crippled and destroyed most programs.

Uhh he won the SEC last year and was a play away from a Natty. Also had a two score lead against Bama and unfortunately no one can compete with the depth at Bama and has almost beat them twice. So in two years he’s lost to LSU on the road and twice to Bama yet our coach has had two 4 game losing streaks. Lol. Are you serious right now? Georgia had the number one recruiting class last year by far and the number 2 this year by far only behind Bama.

Took time for Butch to get the wheels going when he finally had the wheels he left, people are still butthurt over it. Dude studied Sabans recruiting craft while on espn while MR is a goodie two shoes and does things right. We need a savage
 
Im done defending this dude Butch, these guys r toast on here. They stick up for corches and dislike savages. Facts are facts numbers never tell the story but some fall in love with numbers. Look at the roster he put up and when it was about to start driving he left.

from 1983-2005, Miami had 52 first team All-Americans and from 2005-2018 ZERO !!!

that alone tells us all we need to know about coaching and player development at Miami.

Once again Richt won a sec chip his 2nd year like kirby, richt has a better record than kirby in his first 3 years than kirby..fact

someone with ties to me once richts wife got sick, he lost his edge, was never the same. i cant lie, i wouldnt mind richt prior to 2004
