What success has Richt had? Enlighten me? A Sugar Bowl win against Hiawaii in 2004?I won't prove those things because I never made those claims. What I can prove, though, is that an alleged coaching genius went from the brink of building a dynasty to coaching FIU in the Bahama Bowl in less than two decades, with no success along the way.
Had this argument with a Bama fan. Georgia is THEE easiest school to win at. The fertile recruiting grounds and going up against virtually no one to keep these kids home. They signed 5 out of the top 6 kids last year in GA 3 5stars. The only reason they didn’t get the other kid is cause Sunshine went to Clemson so they took Fields who some argued is better. Richt is the most overrated coach the last 2 decades in college football period.
Let’s also not forget that his offense once ran out of time in a two minute drill with 4 minutes left in the clock and 2 timeouts. Don’t blame the quarterback he was calling in plays from the sideline. He’s slow at everything he does and his team plays like it.
