Butch Davis to Arkansas?

Never showed interest in those offers...this is before UNC....had other offers after UNC...but because of buyout...could not coach for 3yrs...hence ESPN and Tampa Bucs jobs....Please stop telling me what I know to be Fact....I'd appreciate it...

Plus butch was smart. He worked at espn where he had access to top programs and saw what they were doing

Sounds like Butch was never seriously considered for the Arkansas job. Along with a bagful of issues (too numerous to mention here), administration and search firm felt Butch had failed to adequately keep up with the increasing emphasis placed on analytics and advances in sports science, particularly as relates to player hydration.
