Bus from Chicago to South Bend

On the ND sites there are plenty of bus options. Basic roundtrip bus w bathroom = $150. Leaves ND 1 hour after the game ends.

That’s exactly the deal I want in a Canes bus. Still looking

This is probably the best option. The stations located in the South Loop next to Grant Park. Plenty of nearby hotels which makes for a short walk.

Or, ****, work with Amtrak to get us a UM-only train after the game, so that we can preserve the life and limbs of the Notre Dame fans.

Some ******' ND fan yapped at me all the way back to the Yellow Lot bridge last year AND MIAMI WON.

I live in Chicago. Been to South been way too many times for work.

Takes 1.5 to 2 hours depending on time you leave with no game-day traffic door to door from my neighborhood Lincoln park (just north of downtown).

My advice leave by 9am, get there tailgate or get a spot at the bars for a great day of CFB.


Note: South bend is eastern time zone. Chicago is central. so you lose an hour going there.

Flying into South Bend and staying at Casino south of town. Can't imagine how bad that drive back to Chicago is going to be at midnight. Chose to avoid it all together.
