Bus from Chicago to South Bend

I don’t remember if it was through hurricane club but i went up for the last game up there. There is a bus service that picks u up in the middle of Chicago at a this Irish pub early in the morning and drops you at the stadium. So assuming it’s a night game you will have a lot of time to kill and there’s no tailgating scene there. I was a kid then so my recollection isn’t great but the bus was all Miami people and I’ll try to ask around how that was set up and get back to you

We did the same exact bus. There was bloody marys in the morning and we parked at some store or restaurant or something. The tailgate was pretty ****** but the access to the bathroom was nice. The ride back was *** though as we were exhausted and losing doesn't help.

Was going to post this as a very viable option. Have in-laws in Mishawaka and Barrington so took the train(s) from one to the other. Was easy, on time, cheap and I didn't have to drive a fu king thing (and could **** at will).

and where does the train drop you off? near the stadium?

I cannot speak to this as I was on a family orientated timeline. Schedules should be on the train's site.

If this is indeed a night game I have doubts on it running that late.
 
ALTERNATIVE TO CHICAGO: Indianapolis

Roughly same drive time to south bend and prob easier accommodations, and flights are the same or similar to Chicago as well…
Good for thought- that’s what I’m debating for that game- I also may sell them for unrelated reasons… but if I can pull the trigger I think I’m going via Indy

would rather spend 3-4 days in chicago over indy.
