My gut is telling me we are slipping with these guys because we aren't putting guys in the league like some of these other schools.

Or could it be these guys are sick of hearing everyone pencil them into Miami

Interesting theory. Maybe they just want to keep it interesting

Yep that's a possibility....I dunno I just remember when I was that age and people trying to tell me oh your gonna do this or that and it made me want to do the opposite. I hope in this case they choose Miami and just want to create a little drama

Its April, look at the history of kids **** during the Canes season who change their minds almost weekly and then decide on NSD. This is **** near expected and we might as well go with the flow imo till at least November and then we really take the recruitment seriously. lets not be stupid, these kids will take all 5 ovs, they'll listen to the big schools throughout their recruitments because they want to make the right choice and it'll be a fight to the end no matter where they choose first

I'm with you Jamaica in try not to put too much stock into recruiting right now. Wasn't it last year at this time Rudolph was committed to us

Yep and wasnt it October or November that JC Jackson was ripping UF in **** near every interview he had and then stayed with them even though he was a lock to UM and then FSU and then UM again?

Something is up with their recruitment, whether they want a little extra, trying to force UM to offer their friend, the whole practice thing, something made them change their minds not to commit and to change their top college, but a positive here is that this has happened early and can be fixed

ITT: amateur psychologists try to theorize why recruits aren't choosing Miami when the answer is staring them right in the face.

One reason for receivers in particular is our QB situation. If Olsen looks solid this year (and if Kaaya looks like he just gets it) we will be in a much better position to beat bama, etc. for these recruits. No need to panic just a few questions at QB right now.

we beat UL and Neb to start the season and then lets see what these local kids are saying..

People want to know why we had such a strong class in the beginning of the year and then limped into signing day..? Maybe because we beat UF, went 7-0 and then proceeded to **** the bed. IF we come out firing at the beginning of this year, we gonna get a lot of local talent on board.

This excuse gets worse and worse each year.

Win and they'll come...

I keep forgetting Florida went 14-0 last year.

That's why they raped the month of January and February and took a stinky poo in our cereal.

I take your UF and raise you FSU, LSU, BAMA, OSU.... **** ain't complicated guy! When teams win, closing recruits is WAY easier

UF lost as we did or even worse at the end of the season and then proceeded to lose Cook and Ermon Lane. But, they lost because offensively they were horrendous, and unlike us they went out and hired a proven offensive coordinator. Shortly there after, they began to close strong on a bunch of studs. And those stud were mainly on the defensive side of the ball, which has always been solid under Muschump anyways.

Had we chose to fire D'onfrio and bring in a legit d-coordinator, we would have most likely been able to close Valentine and other big time defensive recruits

I try to help out my people but you dont listen.

Two years ago at this time I said stop listening to what Matthew Thomas says.

Last year I said stop listening to what Ermon Lane and Dalvin Cook say.

I've said stop listening to SBB and Ridley.

Don't listen? You deserve this.

I haven't followed those dudes so I don't know.

But my theory is that sometimes having a kid on campus too many times can be a bad thing. By that I mean they've been around it so much that they eventually want to see something new because that place loses its shock value.

The UF homers won't admit it but I think that is happening with UF right now when it comes to Byron Cowart and CeCe Jefferson. They've been on UF's campus like 100 times and they've had UF leading forever yet won't commit. I'm betting they go elsewhere in the end.

Not all of the story, but that comes to mind for Johnnie Dixon and Sony Michel. Johnnie Dixon was on campus like 12 times between spring and fall. He goes to OSU one time and commits. Sony lived on campus for 4 years. Makes one trip to Athens randomly in the summer and he commits to them. Like I said, probably not the whole story, but I don't think you're wrong.

I'm not worried about Bama and SFLA recruits until they start landing them.

Amari Cooper is the only guy they have that we wanted.
