Not surprising. There were some red flags with Richt. I think the fanbase was okay with the hire as anybody who wasn't Golden would've been considered a breath of fresh air.

But I've always appreciated PB's evaluation of coaches. He's raw and honest and breaks down what he sees wrong and is willing to go against the grain on public opinion.

To **** with it. Va Tech, Pitt and the Bowl Game. Who cares if he struggles at Va Tech. Let him go through the growing pains and adversity. Heck, Dorsey had to finish for Kelly at Va Tech in 1999.

Overrated? The guy was a first round pick as a junior. He had 5 picks that year, a defensive td and two on special teams.
 
The Richt defenders are so distraught that they are trying to s-hit on a true Cane like Phillip Buchanon LOL. When Richt eventually gets fired, I hope these *** clowns leave with him. As I've said before, they will defend and make excuses for their overrated idol to the bitter end. It's hilarious that they side with a coach over the actual program but to each their own I guess.

I don't discount reports here, (and elsewhere) that Perry may not be giving "attitude" CR is content with (unless he absolutely must play Perry due to injury or Rosier getting even worse). I'm thinking the "I know what I'm dong" and "I got this" comments supposedly overheard.

I get that "supposedly" is dubious. What somebody was in hearing of is at best "suspect". But TBH, we don't know what dynamics go on between Perry and CR or others as they attempt to teach him, constructively criticize him, etc. Does he glaze out? Backtalk? Say dumb things, maybe even offend one?

And maybe Perry, who knows he can go elsewhere, doesn't like Richt or his bedside manner and their 1-to-1's are an issue. It would be just as reasonable an explanation why Richt benches (him for Rosier,) as the tweeted100's, the missed classes, the questionable audibles, or whatever.

Thank you, the problems we have go way beyond the HC level. we have been weak at the AD level.. since Sam left.
in a time were we need dynamic leadership, we have a life long bureaucrat...... and a BOT that wants a competitive football team not a championship outfit
