Buchanon has seen enough I guess

Guys like Phil Buchanon should be hailed as heroes for trying to keep the standards high here. Anyone criticizing this hero for taking a stand against mediocrity and malaise and pigheaded incompetence should just stick to beating off to tranny **** with their legs in the air like a bytch.

Phil, if you’re reading this, I thank you as a two-time alum and a guy who knows what this program is capable of under proper stewardship. Down with these tired old conservative excuse making duds, who are satisfied with mediocre results.

Phillip Buchanon if you’re reading this...

SHUT YO SOFT *** UP BUST TALKING OUT YO NECK CLOWN

Why do all you neanderthals equate that to violence. Before you jits got big on twitter real Men had the balls to say something in person. Only women whispered around corners.

I am not equating anything to violence. You said he would be afraid to say this to Richts face. Why? Is he afraid of getting a stern talking to from Grandpa? Richt read the tweet he wasn't hiding it. He said exactly what he meant. Do you think the man should waste his money on a plane ticket to say the exact same thing to Richt? I could understand you saying this is some little pip squeek was talking **** about Brown. Then yes the guy wouldn't have the balls to say it in person if he said it in a tweet. However, you must be delusional to think Buchananon doesn't have the balls to say this to Richts face.

How long do you think it takes for "KrazyCane" to disappear and make a new account once things start getting really ugly?

funny it’s the same former players that called out the last ones that were inept at coaching our teams. I’m sick of saying but shameful that richt is going down this path, he was doing so much good stuff.

This is not about physical ability or stature this is about respect. Richt isn't some leech coach from temple on the comeup. He's a UM Alumn, a Veteran P5 coach, a man of God for whatever that's worth, and the current coach of this team. Alumn on Alumn attacks on twitter mid season are a pure detriment to the team period. This type of bull**** belongs behind closed doors, or at the very least in the offseason. We've got enough people who openly hate on UM for us help them do their jobs.

I don't know why i'm even fighting it. Gone are the days of only being to voice your opinion directly to the team through a scream from the stands or an argument at a watercooler like a OG sportsfan. Now every minute of every day we get to see UM fans, alumn, and enemies tagging, attacking, and berating our staff and players on social media. Coaches are getting fired left and right to appease fans, salaries are skyrocketing because of the turnover, and college football loses more and more of it's allure as the few schools with unlimited funds and SUPPORTIVE alumn continue to tighten their grip on CFB.

Was Buchanan out during the butch down years when he was on that rebuilding roster? To be a former player who was apart of a rebuild period this is dumb..Correct me if I’m wrong but dude was just at paradise coaching either this year or last lmao..I’m not one for sub tweeting. To me that’s a female quality. Be direct and specific with it. For the ones who downvoted my ā€œit’s a jokeā€ post..but yeah if his meaning was towards the team..dumb

None of that has anything to do with your original comment. You said it was a bltch move. I said it is not a ***** move because he is not afraid to say it in his face. He just is not going to fly all the way to Miami and try to find Richt to say it to his face. It is a lot more convenient to just say it on twitter.

Buchanon is exactly the type of spokesperson we need for a few reasons

1- He played at the U(cant question his motives or legacy)

2- He played football at the highest levels ( so you can't question his knowledge or credentials)

3- Is someone vital because of his background carries some weight(the higher ups just cant dismiss him as a wacko fan)

BTW, Philip Buchanon came to UM in 1999(during the still-building stages of Butch's run) so he can see from different perspectives of what Miami football is an can be and realistically assess the situation, in my view

Yeah, call us 'forum mobs' or 'fanatics' who dont know what they dont know. Fine

But what about guys like Buchanon, then?

Clown comment from an overrated DB Lol Phillip Buchanan got a lot of mouth but I remember he was soft as fck in cfb and in the NfL... always getting ran over and pushed around smh BUST

Really? Alongside the likes of Ryan McNeil, Duane Starks, Antrell Rolle, he's probably in the Mt Rushmore of Miami cornerbacks....

also a really good punt returner...

He'd make most all-time Miami teams in my view(if you did an all-time 85 man roster type of thing)

Who cares if he’d say it to his face or not? This isn’t some grade school beef. Phil’s name is on that tweet, and he broadcast it to the world. Nothing anonymous about what he did.

Got nothing but respect for Phil for taking a public stand against this fckery. Beats the fck out of the former players who talk **** about the coach behind the scenes but hand out plaudits publicly and blame ā€œexecutionā€ or lack of talent.

And teams don’t take on the personality of their coachšŸ˜‚ that such hyperbole. There’s intense coaches who’s teams are soft asf. And laid back coaches who teams about that’ action. Teams especially in football, take in the personality of the alpha dogs on the team. And then it trickles down. We don’t have any alphas on the O if u ask me
