Last year we had to celebrate when we could,............ because they were so few occasions that we had, that deserved celebration....

I seem to remember Berrios landing funny on his ankle once from celebrating.

Smh i can tell some of you never played sports and it shows... yeah that sounds good in theory but people forget sports comes with excitement and adrenaline. It’s part of the game lol sucks it happens.

Agreed.

No one is saying don't celebrate. Just be smart. The jumping and dog piles are not considering the risk to the team and the individual player's long term prospects.

If memory serves, it was another player who actully caused Bolden's injury correct?

Just brilliant.

I have never played sports in my life (born without feet) so I'm not sure if my opinion counts, but getting injured while celebrating is flat-out stupid.

Thanks but I'm not really that guy, just someone who's seen a few injuries in my time. AFAIK there are times when metal is involved in the recovery process. Like I said, I'm just guessing based on what I've heard.

I just had a spiral fracture/dislocated ankle/torn ligaments injury.

Plates, pins and screws. I won't be able to put full weight on it until May probably and the accident happened in December.

Let's hope he didn't suffer anything near that bad.....

He’s already jogging on it, so....

He's only 12 weeks removed from surgery so it was probably just a broken ankle.

I'm not a medical doctor but if he had torn ligaments he'd be out through the spring, right?

All I know is he’s been reported lightly jogging. No idea what that means as far as how much of a heavy duty participatant he will be during the spring practice

I remember back in '98 when my office shattered a regional sales goal and I started a celebratory dogpile. Unfortunately, Debbie from HR ended up on the bottom of it and shattered her pubic bone. It took her 63 months of painstaking physical therapy to recover and I never worked again in the hot tub/home spa industry again.

Kids, celebrate with your brains and not your hearts.

manny had previously said Bubba is on schedule to see some spring action

Its imperative. No more mental reps for this kid. He needs actual reps. How much football action has this kid played in the last 1.5 years? He missed all of Spring last year. All of Fall. And missed half the season. Manny cannot "take it easy" with a kid like this who we are depending on to man that FS spot this year. Gurvan Hall looked like a totally different player when he was able to play SS. He actually looked like the Gurvan Hall we all projected him to be when we beat Saban out for him. If Bolden can go..he needs to be out there. We can't "Lorenzo Lingard" this situation.

He broke his ankle not that long ago. A severe enough sprain can keep you out for 6 months. It’s not that easy to come back from major injuries to high intensity sports. Keep in mind all the pressure and sudden movement your ankle takes
